Raz Review: "I love Rainbow Six. This game has everything most shooters lack - namely intelligence, flow, and strategy.
As
a franchise it rocks, but as a sequel I see little to distinguish it
from its predecessor; aside from a few new squad commands, overhauled
graphics, and a new campaign. The online play (though I haven't tried
it yet) seems a bit more seamlessly integrated into the game menu - you
can jump straight into a game lobby without going through login screens
(as per previously). I'd call it more of a booster pack than a
genuinely new game.
It also leaves the question of what to do
with the old game - I'll probably end up trading it in. Worries me a
bit; I hope game developers don't make the mistake of taking up
Microsoft's 'planned obsolescence' strategy just to get us to fork out
extra $$$."
