Why in-game XMB is ready and is going to be released soon.

I was just in a COD 4 cage match, and this guy had me down 8-0. He proceeded to send me a message saying, "i just stomped your ass". How? I don't know. Im oubviously assuming in-game XMB. So unless this guy is some sort of witch, he has it. Why isn't SONY pulling the trigger on XMB? Why have we waited so long? Well, to me it looks like the wait is almost over.

If this is true it was very unprofessional of the QA tester.Could the explanation be that this person has 2 PS3s?

Yes XMB is on the way - that has been confirmed... soon in fact
(soon(tm) a registered trademark of SCEI)

Very very unprofessional person. If you log in with another ps3 on the same account you'll both get signed out

1st off why would a QA be so silly as to do such a thing and
2nd why is Sony being so secretive about it? It doesn't make any sense. Some games already have XMB built into them so the realisation of this is not far fetched at all -- I just wonder why all the secrecy? Are they trying to spring HOME as well? Hmmmm

Just because someone is an insider or in the gaming industry (QA person?), does not mean the have to, or ever act "professional".

I do believe they would send something like that, but if it was being tested, it would be tested by quite a large group, which means it would have leaked on the net already. But if what this guy says is true, that means it is being tested.

Its coming soon though anyways, within a month it will be here according to rumors..

if you are QA (aka: testors) you are expected to act in a manner that best reflects the company you work for (as are any employees - if you work at McDs even you can tell customers to F off)

QA also are under many levels of NDA paper work - that means they do not leak stuff unless they are stupid and a) want to lose their job b) never work in the industry again c) pay a huge fine (100k+)

and no they don't require huge amounts of testors... 10->20 QA are generally all that are needed (public/private beta tests are not as common as you would assume)
