After researching the Internet for the 2 weeks I’ve learned a lot when it comes to gaming specific monitors. I’ve researched both Pc related gaming monitors as well as gaming monitors geared toward the console market. I’ve read up on brands like AOC, View sonic, Asus, and Ben Q among others. I’ve learned about the differences that input lag, ghosting, refresh rate, among other features have on your overall gaming experience. Now remember this article is not to inform you about the ins-and out of what all the features do but tell you more about the end result.
So after much deliberation and having doubts on cost vs. overall gaming edge benefit I went with the Samsung S27cC750 monitor. This monitor runs at a minimum of 60hertz and has an input lag about 10milliseconds and ghosting time below 5milliseconds. Now I know this is not the fastest gaming monitor on the market or the best, but I wanted a brand that I can trust while providing good color reproduction for my games. In the end it’s on a base-by-base situation given users specific preferences or cost.
To continue, I play all types of games but mostly shooters such as Call Of Duty. As an avid Call of Duty player I can attest that most definitely a gaming monitor with low input lag or ghosting would give you a competitive edge. In playing Call of Duty I have seen my kills go from averaging 22 kills a match to about 32 at there highest. (Team Death Match without teammates) The real range in kill counts per match can be anywhere from 4 to 12 more kills. My score per minute in the last week have gone from 278 to over 400. Guns like the M16 really rack up kills when compared to my much older Samsung LNT5265F 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV. Variables like connection, or crappy players have all been factored in my average.
In conclusion, nothing beats playing certain games on the big screen. But after playing games like Call of Duty on a gaming monitor with low input lag and ghosting there really is no turning back. I would recommend any competitive player to use a gaming monitor period. I know a gaming monitor will give most players a significant competitive edge and in my opinion offers great value and a better overall gaming experience.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
I don't have the greatest monitor, but I game with pc and ps3 a 1080p projector at about 120". I have found that its much sharper and responsive than a hdtv. A good monitor is always a great option but can't handle that small size anymore
I have a 56 inch monitor and now I play worse than ever. The ideal size is 32 inch if playing shooters. Also components and composites will always give u more lag. HDMI is best.
for a console that only does 720p or less, a small 720p screen is your best bet
playing ps3/360 games on my 1080p 55" Samsung looks like crap
I use a 24" monitor for console games and the 55" for pc games
I play PS3 on my 51 inch Samsung plasma, when you have the hdmi computer input set to PC it has a response time of 5 milliseconds. Going from that to my 42 inch Vizio on game mode is tough at best. My Samsung is just a ton easier to play on, I don't know the response time of the Vizio on game mode. And i'm not sure why cunnilumpkins PS3 doesn't look good on his Samsung because mine is gorgeous.
