Ok, how do i start? well i'll start by saying that i love my ps3 and everything that it has to offer, i have the fat 60gb one and up to now i have no complaints about the system but just about the system, i do have to complaint about sony's ways of updating the PS3 firmwares.
Why is it that when a major firmware update becomes available it must be downloaded or online access will be denied? why can't we have the choice of downloading what or when we want? I'm saying this because, i'm the kind of person that likes to wait and read feedbacks before downloading anything and since firmware 3.00 became available i can't access the PS store or any online service on my PS3, it's hard for me because i love to play online and buy stuff on the ps store but like must people i prefer that and wait before having my 600$ PS3 bricked. I've had some experience since firmware 2.46 when all my files where erased after an update and since that waiting is my number one priority.
Sony well know that not all PS3's firmwares are perfect and that some firmwares are faulty so why insisting on making us download them even if we don't want to? i really think that Sony should start thinking about what we want and stop thinking on how they want, we are the ones spending and it's our right decide what we want to do, what do you think guys, do you agree with me or not?

Im really digging it. It reminds me of games from the PS2 era, not visually or how it plays, but like the spirit of it. If you were around for that golden age of gaming, you’ll get what I mean when you play this.
Have you tried Kanitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess (also Capcom)? That feels like a PS2-era Capcom game.
Agreed! The art style is amazing in that game. I bought it immediately after I played the demo but haven't started it lol

I do agree with this guy, sony's ways are not always the right ways. plus they loose money if people can't use the ps store
The reason you can't log into PSN until it's updated is that if you had many different people all running a different OS version, some who'd have certain features, some who wouldn't etc. you'd incur a LOT more testing and a LOT more problems. What would happen if you invited someone with firmware 1.0 to a text chat? How would you compare your trophies with them, when they don't have the trophy feature installed?
Anyway, for all updates this isn't necessary, hence why the latest 3.01 update is optional.
