The room was a filming set for comedy central's lip sync battles. You were supposed to find Anne Hathaway turned zombie dressed as Miley Cyrus in the room. Right after that you'd run into a boss fight with a very agile Tom Holland zombie dressed as Rihanna. You'd also find a note, describing the plan to bring Destiny's Child back together, however the plan failed obviously as you'd come across a Regenerator consisting of three parasitic bodies, one for each of the girls, throwing Beyonce songs at you as it fights you. The plot twist would have been that the OG villain would be Jimmy Kimmel. They scrapped the idea cause it was too close to reality and the Illuminati didn't want to expose themselves so obviously.

They originally planned to have a God of war style minigame involving Salazar's sex dungeon but they thought it would be too graphic so they went with the wrecking ball room instead.

It was originally going to be a cutscene where the duo was captured and put onto a platform above a pool of water filled with sharks, not normal sharks, but sharks equipped with lasers on their heads.... because sharks deserve a hot meal. The platform above the pool was equipped with a state-of-the-art, unnecessarily slow dipping mechanism. All the bad guys would leave the room when this mechanism was activated, leaving the heroes completely unsupervised.

One director who worked on the game, 'Scott Igotagun', suggested that they just skip all the theatrics, and have one of the enemies go to a room to get a gun, and just shoot both of them in the head. he was immediately dismissed from his position on the spot.

Ultimately this wonderfully crafted idea was scrapped and replaced with the ludicrous idea of a wrecking ball above smoldering hot "MAG-MA," when capcom found out this scene was copied by an American film.

Originally they planned the balls as a puzzle for u to escape, you had to shoot the chains and the balls would fall on pools of molten lava and with all of them covered up it would creating preassure within the pipes and the whole factory would start blowing up with you running by mashing the 'X' button while the wrecking balls chase after you bouncing around the room like ping pong balls.. and when leon manages to escape he quips "those were some nasty balls"

This was the room of a huge fight where Leon was going to protect Ashley while she ran on the hamster wheel. Running on the wheel would make lava turn into jelly, and from the depths of this jiggly underworld a horde of kamikaze chicken would suddenly spawn, flying towards the enemies, like unrelenting homing birds with beady eyes, going straight for the enemies heads.

And when they made contact, they'd take over their bodies and force them to do the chicken dance. Flapping their arms and legs like a couple of penguins trying to salsa dance, the enemies were no match for the mighty power of the kamikaze chickens.

Leon's jaw dropped as he surveyed the scene in front of him. Kamikaze chickens were everywhere, flying through the air and taking over the bodies of their enemies. He stood there, stunned, as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke up.
"First Bingo, now chicken tag? And i thought the giant alligators were the weirdest thing about this job."

I reckon they were intended to do a nod to RE 8 and have an over size life like statue of Lady Dimitrescu learning over the fires and in place of the wrecking ball had to use her t*ts ...however Capcom found players ironically could never hit the brick brick wall. & never make it past that section.....as the game programmers got distracted by letting them swing into Leon's face they never finished the rest of the game.. so had to replace them thus wrecking ball was introduced.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
