Okay after just posting a comment about this very same thing I decided to make a blog about it. This blog that I am currently writing is about more developers taking a chance to make collection titles similar to Sega's Ultimate Genesis and Santa Monica's God of War.
Now I know some developers don't have the resources or money available, but a quick poll could show whether or not it would actually be a worth while investment. For instance one such series in particular I'd like to see in a collection title is Xenosaga [Which would include all episodes]. That is by far one of my favorite RPGs that I have played on the PS2 and would be nice collection to add especially for those who don't have a PS2 to play them.
Now like others I'd also like to see Shadow of the colosseus and Ico in a collection. As I am one of those people who never got a chance to play them and currently trying to pay off a variety of things so my money fund is limited besides it's hard to find these games! So make it easier and just place them in a collection title.
All of this sounds good in theory, but as most gamers are wondering what about the price? Well I thought of that to. God of War had a pretty good price point, being that it was 40.00 for two games. I'd say that would be a good place to start if there were two games on the same disc. Though if it were three how about 50.00 or 60.00? I wouldn't go any higher than that though.
All in all I hope more developers will step up and make a few collection titles for other gamers that never got the chance to play their games.
P.S.
Any additions to the list of games that should be put in collections please feel free to list.

Dear team,
Xbox has always been different.
We started with a simple idea. Games should bring people together through shared experiences. That led to the first Xbox in 2001, Xbox Live in 2002, and new ways to connect, from friends lists and achievements to parties and play across devices. Today, Xbox reaches over 500 million players around the world, with some of the most important franchises in entertainment.
re-evaluating exclusivity 💀
PS players will need to go back to pretending to dislike Xbox games
If they go back to exclusive games it at least shows that they are finally getting it. They would be turning down immediate money for something that will potentially workout in the long term.
Only issue is they've already opened Pandora's box. A lot of their base has moved to PC or jumped to PS. So will be a long road to get back on track.
We have been saying this from day one exclusives are a must if you are going to be selling hardware look at Nintendo and Sony before Jim Ryan. That's the proven formula. You had some that were deluded and blinded by loyalty accepting that multiplat was the future and that MS was merely getting ahead of where the industry was headed, but at least they can finally see the light and agree with what everyone has been saying for a decade+
Despite all of that, it's clear that Microsoft's Xbox division is broken beyond repair.

Insider Gaming writes: "Marathon was one of the best-selling video games in March 2026 in the United States. On Wednesday, Circna released the best-selling games of the month, and it featured six new releases along with two games returning to the top 20 after previously falling out."
Is it April fools day again?
The game is dead.
EDIT: the numbers are fudged. “digital sales on Nintendo and Xbox weren’t included in the data”

Does it hurt you to hear a SONY game was BEST selling ?
You gotta let go of those OBCURED feelings 🤷🏿
Yeah sure, yet the player count is no where near what they want for a AAA game with so much money behind it
Why people are trying to spin this game like it’s done overly amazing is baffling to me.
It won’t even be a blip on peoples radars by the end of the year .

The release on Steam of the anime-style gacha-less open-world RPG DragonSword: Awakening is facing a legal challenge from its gacha publisher.
A Team Ico HD Collection along with (or including) The Last Guardian would be amazing. Of course, trophies would be the added bonus.
There is a Devil May Cry box for ps2, but i would really love it if they got the GOW collection treatment. Having played and thoroughly enjoyed the 4th installment, i couldn't help wanting to know my roots. Though, as you said above, i dont have a ps2 and my ps3 is not BC so i look stupid. plus the oldest devil may cry is much older than the first god of war, and has sold either just as well or better. i heard there were issues in the 2nd DMC which could be addressed in a remake, and the praised 3rd one could get treated to HD and trophy/achievements. well all would get HD and possibly extra missions or unlockables. Furthermore, it would be an xbox owners first opportunity to enjoy the beginning of a storied and revered franchise. The 4th one was released on 360 but of course there are people like myself who had no knowledge of the story prior. It could be released to celebrate the unannounced but inevitable Devil May Cry 5 (come on capcom, this lifetime please)
great read tho, please check and comment on my blog postings:
