I've noticed more and more shills over the past week attempting to ruin the constructive debate in the great N4G community. While fanboys exist on both sides, shills take insults and disgusting comments to a whole new level. Their intent is to silence any opposition to their masters.
Working in IT, I've been in Microsoft evangelist groups before. Primarily ClubIE when Netscape was actually dominant. We didn't offend the way shills here do, but MS did send us to various sites to promote IE. I have no experience with Sony so I don't know how they operate.
I'm just wondering how many of these new, disgusting shills, are out of control fanboys and how many are actually compensated Microsoft and Sony shills.
Nothing wrong with disagreement and debate. But to keep N4G the great place for news and discussion that it is, I hope everyone ignores and reports those who cross the lines of decency in the name of their pimp's chosen platform. Also remove their bubbles according to N4G guidelines.
