Since the new site launched there have been many major tweaks affecting all the users of this site: i.e. the combination of two posting zones. One major tweak IMO would change the way users interact with this site. When a user agrees or disagrees, they should be forced to respond. Too many times people flip through articles hitting the agree/disagree button. If users were forced to post why they disagree or agree they wouldn't spam that button so much. I don't know much about programming a site but this is something the design team for this site should look into.

Nintendo’s weirdest series is back. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is the soap opera simulator filled with weird humour that will keep you coming back.

I typed out a long response to this but I suck a writing and It was all jumbled together so I'll just say this. I think the system does what it's meant to do people read the comment then click disagree or agree based on there thoughts is it used wrongly sometimes yes but as long as it doesn't affect my bubbles its fine with me.
I think the reason people don't respond is because of limited bubbles I know if I disagree with someone I don't always respond because I don't want to use a bubble.
I think what I'm trying to say is that your giving your opinion and everyone's opinion is different so you should expect disagrees. my writing skills suck so I hope all that made sense lol
i think they should remove the bubble system and do something like yahoo news does it: when your ratio of disagrees far outweighs your agrees your comment is simply muted and only accessible by clicking "show".
i'm in the one bubble club and due to the sometimes asshole nature of some of my comments it's probably deserved. but 99% of the time there are interesting discussions that i'd like to engage in and can't. for a site about videogames this sh*t is treated far too seriously. news message boards have a far more liberal policy than one that's supposed to be about fun. i've seen messages calling for political assassinations on those boards....yet the posters aren't silenced like they are here.
How can you know this?
The agree/disagrees buttons are useless. Do not pay any attention to them.
Bubbles actually control how many comments one person can make, they need major tweaking.
Whoever agrees/disagrees should have their name posted.
I hit those buttons mostly when I run out of my three posts. Which are usually not enough. You should be allowed to carry on a conversation/ reply to anyone that replies to you.
Edit Especially in a thread/article/blog post that you yourself have posted up.
