Before we see any mention of the next PS console
SONY will try to recuperate losses and build the PS3 install base. I
highly doubt the system will be released in 2012, it's more likely were
going to hear about the plan to build a new Playstation rather then
it's release.
Lets look at the reasons gameplayer has listed to merit a PS4.

First and foremost, we all
read a article that was posted months ago regarding the mandatory
trophy feature on every game in the works for 2009. SO let's not cry
about it until the end of 09.

We can avoid the hefty installations if the developers were more like
Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games. Personally to me its not a huge
problem, considering it takes equal time or longer to install a game on
the PC. For those whining about the amount of free space left, i
suggest you go out and purchase a larger hard drive. We all know that
the future of gaming on PS3 and 360 will be more games *stand alone and
DLC* movies, music, purchasable through the store.
They
also mention a redesign of the PS six axis controller, just in time for
the supposed Armageddon/End of the world. Luckily for us, this design
will only work after we transform into hideous beasts.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
