Can anyone please inform me as to why we don't have more active moderation on the news boards? Seriously, some people posting on news boards here are out of control.

Hopefully in the N4G post-beta update, there will be stronger moderation features because the level of immaturity here is absolutely astounding.
Here I am....a n00b to n4g, pissing in the wind and hopefully trying to get results, when the most it will do is probably backfire on me.

Dude N4G is the most up to date gaming site around and there's no arguing that, but if you're looking for intelligent conversation you're in the wrong place. Kotaku isn't bad because they ban people who act like @ssholes pretty regularly. Used to be you had to audition to comment there too. Joystiq and Ripten seem okay...even Destructoid isn't too bad. Anyway, good luck in your little quest, but honestly N4G is what it is. You need to take the good with the bad.
