Sadly, one person can't change things, but you are spot-on with your ideas. I, myself (new contributor), honestly try to find stories that are interesting to the typical gamer. I could care less about a "score" I have on a website. :)

What I like is when you know the story is complete BS and has been reported by like 15-20 contributors and it gets approved anyway.

the old posts being approved, forum posts, and the most annoying are fake blog posts being posted as news

i'm sorry but a blogger account with 1 post in it is not a reliable source of information

another thing that bothers me is when you report these stories nothing happens 90% of the time, people need to stop submitting the stories, people need to stop approving the stories and above all mods need to step up and actually moderate the stories

a good 3rd of the articles on the main page each day are garbage and you are forced to wade through them to find anything worth your time

this site is really falling into the dirt and it is fully in the hands of immature imbeciles who pollute the site with the "my console is better than yours" garbage

N4G use to be my main site but lately it has become more filed with worthless opinions instead of useful news worthy facts!

Thanks to everyone who's responded over the past few days. At least some people seem to care.

With everything you said man. I have seen articles approved for one system then turned down for another when both dealt with the same thing just diff outlooks. I have seen stupid storys approved that really adds nothing but flamebait and you know what these are the storys that get the most hits lol crazy.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
