Burnout Paradise...Ummmm....I'm not so sure

Not so sure I like this game. I really am on the fence. I picked this and DMC4 up at the same time, and yes I've put in more hours on Burnout, but I'm still on the fence.

The good, well the game is just flat out gorgeous. The crashes are actually cringe inducing. The sensation of speed is like nothing I've experienced before. You know a game does it right when you slow down not because you feel out of control but because you get a little nervous going that fast. The online system is amazing. Unfortunately, of my 60 some odd friends only 4 have the game. I have to do some work now to track down people that own the game and add them as a buddy.

So if it's all that why am I complaining? Well I was in a race and it's neck and neck. I'm racing from one corner of the world to another. While in a race I usually have to hit select at least 2x just to get directions to where I'm going. You can't really follow the crowd because they usually take themselves out and why would you want too? I want to eventually know these routes like the back of my hand. So anyway, I'm a race and I'm in the lead and then I take a round turn at the last second and that's it. Race is over. I lost. Not only that, but I can't get back in that race unless I drive back to the starting point (which I probably don't even remember).

WTH? And where is my crash mode?

Despite all these complaints, I'm all set to pop in Burnout right now and get some racing in. I'll come back with a review later when I'm a bit deeper in the game.

Ys X: Proud Nordics Review | NoobFeed

Zahra from NoobFeed writes: Ys X: Nordics captures the feeling of excitement that has been a big part of Adol's journey for many years. It doesn't just make you feel nostalgic; it makes you feel like change is happening right now. There are a lot of formulaic versions out there, but Ys X: Nordics chooses to be different instead of repeating itself.
