The Chief was walking down the street of some unknown planet. The buildings had a slight orange tint to them with neon lights. The Chief saw someone approach from the other end of a long alley. Enhancing the optics in his helmet visor the Chief zoomed in on the strange figure approaching him. The person approaching was wearing a helmet so it was impossible to tell by the face who it was. The only defining characteristics were the odd rectangles strapped to his back and the N7 branded on his armor. “Careful John” Cortana’s voice sounded in his helmet, “I’m detecting a large threat level. Target is heavily armed and has powerful kinetic barriers.” The Chief nodded his head in acknowledgement than began checking his weapons.
Commander Shepard was walking through the narrow alleyway. There were some small boxes and other durasteel containers. The planet and its colors reminded him of Omega. Approaching him was a figure in a green suit of metal armor. Checking his omni-tool Shepard scanned the figure approaching him. His shields were strong, but the armor was stronger. Shepard wasn’t sure if his weapons would penetrate the armor. Making sure his weapon’s thermal clips were properly vented he flipped the switch unfolding his Avenger rifle. The fight was about to begin.
The Chief drew his Magnum. One of Earth’s most powerful personal weapons, the .50 Caliber magnum came equipped with its own personal scope, and the Chief was going to use it. Putting the scope’s reticle on Shepard’s head pulled the trigger, three times. The first 2 rounds found their target, but Shepard’s reflexes allowed him to duck behind cover. Switching to his Shotgun the Chief began to close the distance.
From behind cover Shepard conducted a body check. His kinetic barriers were critical, and he was lucky he moved in time. The third round would have torn through his helmet. Knowing his barriers would take several seconds to recharge he blind fired his rifle, trusting the Avengers auto target acquiring software would increase his accuracy. Knowing his Avenger could pump out several thousand rounds a minuet with minimal reloading he held the trigger for several seconds before popping out to aim.
The Chief wasn’t sure what hit his shields but he could feel his shields draining. Firing his shotgun he spun towards cover.
The concrete above Shepard’s head exploded as the buck connected.
Shepard ducked back behind cover as the second buck hit right where he was a moment ago. Venting his Avenger he popped out and fired several more rounds toward his adversary.
The Chief’s shields recharged nanoseconds before he drew his rifle and fired back. Several more rounds tore into his shields, with one penetrating through his armor. Reloading he dropped back into cover and lobbed a small grenade down the alley.
Shepard was in cover by the time the Chief’s bullets reached his location. He headed a metal clanking sound several feet away. An explosion with force of a miniature nuclear warhead exploded moments later.
The Chief saw Shepard get blown backward be the force of the grenade. Switching to his Sub Machine gun and drawing his energy sword the Chief charged forward.
Shepard was disoriented and on the floor when he heard the bullets ringing around him. What little was left of his kinetic barriers was depleted by the barrage of bullets coming his direction. Shepard looked up to see his opponent charging at him with a translucent rainbow colored sword.
Ejecting the magazine the Chief threw aside his SMG, and swung his energy sword down.
Shepard engaged the Omni-blade and brought it up in his defense.
The two blades clashed together when…….

That was intense :)
Commander Shepard is cool but he can't jump like the Chief can so I'll say Masterchief.
For your next versus match: Daxter Vs The Pain from Snake Eater with Pac Man as the guest referee.
Great post, but i want to know who would win: Mortal Kombat Characters vs Street Fighter Characters.
Do a Jak vs Ratchet version!
Put Master Chief in Shepards position and the Reapers would just go home. There wouldn't have even been a ME3.
