Now i hate to say it but i'm having nothing but problems with my controllers due to call of duty. I own a ps3 and total i got about 15 days online between cod 4 and 5 and i'm on my third controller and its always the same thing a problem with the left analog stick after awhile its not smooth it starts to like click when you move it slow... and occasionally when you let go of the stick the character still moves slightly i talked to some of my friends who have a 360 and ps3 and a few of them are having the same problem. Just wanted to make sure its not a wide spread thing
thanks

For Southeast Asia, new price changes.
Prices effective starting May 1st, 2026.
Looks like PlayStation took a hit with Marathon and is now quietly adjusting prices worldwide to recover the losses
The price increases are due to the RAM demand associated with AI and the US-Iran war. You can look to any business news website and local news to see that. Heck, even the 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo I've been eyeing has faced delays and has had a price increase of $400; that laptop has two specs. Asus is doing a staggered release with per-orders for the lower spec now and shipping in May and pre-orders for the higher spec that I'm eyeing starting in June. Basically, all computer manufactures are affected. It'll most likely start affecting smart phones too if it hasn't already. I can't remember the last time any major console maker (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, etc) increased the price of their console mid cycle outside of Microsoft just to make more profit.

CGMagazine writes: "And as I said, the actual game of Kiln is so genuinely boring that playing it to unlock the creative tools was such a massive chore that I genuinely started to resent it by the end. Battling is a monotonous button masher. There are only five arenas, and despite being based on different gods from various mythologies, none are particularly memorable in visual style or music. And it’s all just such a homogeneous mess of nothing."
This is actually normal controller wear, happens to all of 'em after a while. I assume clicking the left stick while running only makes it worse though. At least you're not playing ut3, you die pretty fast because of this problem with the sensitivity as high as it is in that game.
it happend on both my 360 and ps3 sixaxis pad. it aint happend on my dualshock 3 yet but i have a feeling its getting there. im almost positive its the sprint button on cod4 that causes it. perhaps they should make L2 sprint and just have one button for the diff types of grenades
I can relate.
I've had that happen to me when i played COD4 on my PS3.. my sixaxis died.
But my Dual shock 3 remains strong as ever!
I killed my 360 controller with COD2 awhile ago.
But my new controller is fine.. i stopped playing Call of Duty (any) after that.
On to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2!
It happened to my Sixaxis but my DS3's have held up. I think it's just a lot of use on the left analog due to COD4/5 and not faulty controllers. When the Sixaxis left analog became useless I made a mental note not to press down on it as hard while playing COD.
no problems even played cod5 for a few weeks plus a bunch of other games everythings good... oh yeah cod5 is worse than cod4...
