Yes, you read the title right. E3 2008 was a damn joke. I waste of
money and time if you ask me. Yeah, they showed some new games but
where was the excitement. I tell you where it was, it was left in 2006
with the last real E3. Just look at the two pictures below .

The purpose of E3 is to generate hype and buzz for games that companies
are putting out. I guarantee you if E3 2008 was like E3 2006 the sells
of video game for this coming fall and next year will be greater then
they are going to be.
With the old E3 you had everyone in the gaming food chain
talking about all the games they wanted to play. That’s a lot of people
telling a lot more people about a game. Combine that with the normal
marketing the game companies are going to do, and then you have some
real buzz and hype. I think the ESA, the folks that run E3, should put
a restriction on the size of the booths to help scale down the natural
1uping contest you have when competitors are in the same space.
But if none of this is going to happen, then they need to bring that
shit to it’s knees and bow out gracefully. All the big companies can
afford to have their own press day anyway.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
