Okay, so today we have our current gen (Xbox 360, Wii, PS3), and then we have the last gen (GameCube, Xbox, and PS2), but YEARS before that, we had the N64, SNES, PS1, and NES. We consider those “retro” today, and you can find those games in most pawn shops or independent gaming retailers, or you can download them from services over the internet, or over the Wii feature called “Virtual Console”. So that’s the retro as of now, and in the next couple of gens, the Wii, PS2, and Xbox 360 will probably be retro, and considered totally “out of date”, and just not cool anymore. What will happen with systems like I listed before, the NES, SNES, PS1 and such? Will it still be retro, or will it just go beyond retro and just pretty much be ancient? Will we still be able to get the games at places or over the internet or even our consoles? What will happen with the “retro” that we know of now and love?
