GTA IV? WAS IT REALLY THAT BAD!(?)

Mafiya Work mode delivered

I'm sure most of you followed the months leading up to rockstar north's grand theft auto IV.Their were rumors that the game would have online play, take place in an entire country instead of just one individual city, and even become a full-fledged MMORPG! It seems like only of these rumors was correct but if you look beneath the surface you might find the MMORGP we all dreamed of in mafiya work mode. If your one of the people out their decrying GTA's expanded production values , cheesy story lines, and wish that the current grand theft auto's resembled the first two in the series then i strongly recommend that you give mafiya work a try if you haven't already or give it another go.

When the contact was issuing my mission instructions i couldn't help but remember the  talking head that popped up on the screen during early iterations of GTA. But the best thing was i didn't have to do these missions at all i could just wander the city[their were restrictions on where you could go;however, based on the host's discretion],and do whatever i pleased. Now, i understand that there is a free mode option available in GTA iv but the free mode is limited in what you can do besides just killing each other.

Mafiya work gives you the freedom if you become bored with just roaming the city to decide whether you want a more linear mision experience just like in GTA I, and GTA II. When playing mafiya mode i feel like i am playing an HD remake of GTAII with real people, the craziness is tuned up because of online play. Mafiya mode delivered the MMORG that people were hoping for it just wasn't the grand theft auto game in the series they were expecting.

more than the content. I remember that most GTA games in the past looked like crap but they had tons of places to explore and loads of things to do. GTA4 was for me an AAA game just not a 10/10 type of game like most sources made it out to be. They were also tied up with making the multiplayer portion of the game which is huge.

All I want is a physical disc release of remastered D2 that doesn't require online check-ins.
