Killzone 2 gets a Lower Meta Then MGS4 AND it Still Gets Praised Like the Messiah?

I am gonna pull no punches.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is my favourite game of all time. It is now for most people the game of their life probably the finest they've ever played.

It's also one of the best meta scored games this generation for the PS3 -- only beaten by Grand Theft Auto IV, LittleBigPlanet and Bioshock -- getting 9's and 10's (and a couple of 8's) across the board.

And yet, even though a couple reviews are only in so far with more to come on Tuesday, you have to admit that so far, Killzone 2 is being hailed a game better then that of Metal Gear Solid 4.

Dont get me wrong, I was in the multiplayer beta for the game, it was amazing and it is my most antcipated game of 2009 (2nd actually to Final Fantasy XIII when I import it) but, as Harry Hill has, which is better?

Killzone 2 or Metal Gear Solid 4?

There is only one way to find out...

FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!

Are you sure, because I am looking at Metacritic right now and it clearly states 95 for Killzone 2 and 94 for MGS4.

The hardcore gaming population has built up a lot of respect for the MGS series. But Killzone 2 is still just plain awesome!

But I was also in the beta and than I declare Killzone 2 to be better than MGS 4 . I Have never seen anything quite like it ( and weren't the beta compressed ? )...From the time I was playing you had a sense they had some truly remarkable here . It all just mesh together from the medic to the saboeteur ( whatever class you were you felt important in the warzone) . It was so much fun playing with every class .

PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED THE BETA WILL FLIP OUT ONCE THEY GET A CHANCE TO PLAY WARZONE .

Metacritic is a joke, the whole publishing of scores and focus on the numerical value alone is lazy and stupid. IMO reviews should do away with scores entirely and those people who argue over which game is best should actually have to read through review (with words and everything) to make a decision.

Frankly who cares if the game was entirely removed from Metacritic, its actual value is zero.

im probably a bigger MGS fan than you lol no lie and MGS4 is my favorite game of all time... and that will never change ( unless kojima does MSX remakes of metal gear , metal gear 2: solid snake)

but first off Killzone has a higher score on meta for one...
2nd i think its getting praised for such a high standards because this game was doubted like no other so many ppl played this game down... when kojima anounced mgs4, WE KNEW it was going to be good... when kz2 was announced it was like a uh hmmmmm killzone 1 sucked ( which it didn't) sooo meh i dont know.
3. Have u seen killzones visuals lol yes i know gameplay > visuals but visuals has become part of the immersion and gameplay for kz2
4. people are dying to play a great multiplayer game, now i love MGS4 single player and i absolutely love and own on MGO BUT people are looking for the game that is going to BEST call of duty 4, and well killzone 2 seems to be delivering on that

Oh and PS: im glad your a metal gear enthusaist such as myself will killzone 2 be better than MGS4, Not a chance in hell in my book ; )

I don't think The Beastie Boys are responsible for this.
