I'm deeply hurt to see EGM go, but what's the plan with people like me - the ones who paid for a subscription?
Nothing was mentioned in Sam Kennedy's blog regarding how their loyal EGM subscribers were going to be taken care of in this acquisition, which I feel is a backhand to the EGM fans who supported the magazine. It seems like we've been completely forgotten in this matter.
Are there any other EGM subscribers concerned that we might get burnt in the deal? I sent an e-mail to EGM customer support on Wednesday asking what will become of my 13 months left on my subscription, but I haven't received a response yet. I wonder if I ever will.
If I get any additional information, I'll post it on here.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
Yeah, I expect to get "burnt." I don't think there is much to be done about it either. The only consolation I can think of is off the table. Which is actually getting a proper "final" issue. But as we know, the Sorethumbs blog crew already said it was scrapped. :(
they hated Nintendo since 1998, its about time they died.
they are gone... I will forever miss those timeless Hsu and Chan comics, I will forever miss the colorful covers, of course I will miss the reviews, but I have a bright star to turn to that will never shine as bright as the one I know as EGM. It is called.. PC Gamer. Maybe we won't get 'burnt', but that is a 1 in a million chance considering that they sold themselves to their competitors.
