Sense of Feeling is so important in games today

I signed up for the newsletter, Looking forward to seeing what these guys can do.

They seem to have a great team in Funonmena. The director Keita Takahashi is the creator of the Katamari series. Two of the team members also work on Journey and Walking Dead game. My guess is that one of the projects will be similar to the katamari game

Working on 3 unannounced games? Most indies have a hard time working on 1 game. I can't imagine what it is to work on 3. I hope the games turn out to be great.

I definitely won't forget how to say their name now! :D (The classic Muppet Show is so awesome!). Just the thought of a studio like Funomena, made up of people who worked on Journey, Flower, and Katamari Damacy, making a VR game makes me smile like crazy.

I'm gonna go follow them on everything! Really looking forward to this fall to see what they announce.

Muppets xD. This is nostalgic wow, I bet my nephew would love this game.

I don't know if feelings were what thought about in all the games in their past projects, but with Hunicke's very own Journey, that certainly seemed like a design philosophy. From the flow in gameplay, to the music, to the adventurers you meet. If that's what they're going to be going for in the future, then it's certainly worth checking out all of their following games. I think it's a bit of a shame to shine the spotlight on something that "doesn't exist" yet though...

3 titles at once is no easy feat for a small dev. Good to see a wide spread in platforms

They seem to take a very simplistic and gut-feeling type of approach to making games, sounds interesting.

Wish they had something to show but with the talent they have at their studio im sure it will be worth the wait. Ill keep my eye out for their studio name in the future.

Games truly are a great medium. Good luck to these guys. Seems like they have their eyes set on the right place. Hopefully their feeling first approcah works out.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
