Top 10 Reasons Why EA's NCAA Football is Better Than Madden

After watching the first round of the NFL Draft today and also reading the release of IGN’s preview of Madden ‘08. I thought up of a few reasons why I enjoy EA’s NCAA Football over Madden and here are the....

Top 10 Reasons Why EA’s NCAA Football is Better Than Madden

#10 Male Cheerleaders

Just kidding, but something else that poses is the Heisman Trophy which you can win.
What pose is there for the NFL MVP?

#9 Fight Songs

Much more entertaining and enduring than the pop rock/ hip hop
that are featured and soon fade away or grow tiresome.

#8 More Teams and Stadiums

Hundred fourty-four compared to thirty-two.
People know who and where the "Big House" and "The Swamp" are played,
not everyone knows where and who plays in the Alltel Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field.

#7 It’s Less Expensive

Usually $10 less

#6 End Zone Celebrations

No Ickey Shuffle, but teams can get flagged when getting carried away.

#5 Trick Plays and the Option

Boise State vs Oklahoma....

#4 Dynasty Mode

Too many hours spent here.

#3 It Has Nothing to Do With "America’s Team"... The Dallas Cowboys

"Nuff Said.

#2 There’s No Curse

But there could be if anyone really looks for one:

Reggie Bush - violating ncaa rules allegations
Several Qb's - either are retired or are 3rd string
Carson Palmer - injury in the playoffs
Shaun Alexander - made the madden cover (*see curse)
Ricky Williams - has glaucoma
Larry Fitzgerald - plays for the AZ Cardinals

******************************#1***********************************

#1 You Don’t Have to Listen to Madden’s Annoying Commentary

How many times have you played while it was on mute??

*But you have to listen to Lee Corso instead.

As I am English, I have played Madden over the years (since the megadrive) but never been too bothered about American Football.

Over the last few years I have started watching the NFL most weeks and started to take more interest in Madden. This year however I watched more College games as I found them more exciting.

This year I am unsure whether to get Madden, NCAA or both. Any advice?

(I even watched the Draft this year! I hope Quinn kills it this year, felt so bad for him)

Yeah I feel sorry for the lad, hopefully he will do a good job for the Browns.

As for getting the games, I am not sure how much you enjoy Madden. They have revamped it this year and the game should be better than the previous years. But if you enjoy Madden you can get both, some features will allow you to import your class from NCAA into Madden's NFL draft so that might be reason alone to keep NCAA. However if you don't like NCAA FOOTBALL there have been deals in the past that allow you to receive an x amount of credit towards Madden when you trade in NCAA Football. As for myself, I just prefer more teams, options, and plays. Hope this helps. Cheers mate!
