MERRY CHRISTMAS N4G!
As we get closer to the end of 2013 and approach Christmas, it is time that we realize how amazing this year and Christmas as a gamer is. The PS4 and X1 reveal, next-gen gaming, releases, amazing graphics and more. I think this is the best year in my gaming life I have every experienced.
As we get closer to Christmas there is no doubt that the X1 and the PS4 will start to become in stock faster and sell out faster as the rush to get a next-gen console this winter is nearing the 'impossible' unless you fly to Sony's or Microsoft's HQ and buy a console that way. If your one of those people who has book marked a page on amazon showing the console of your wanting and always clicking refresh to make sure you don't miss the next re-stock, your Christmas might now be as good as the already owned PS4 and X1's. Since it's Christmas and nearing the New Year, I am going to make a top game for 5 different categories and talk about the hottest news in this year. Let's go!
The 5 categories will consist of my favourite games and then what I believe is if I made a poll what the entire N4G choice of game would be.
-Best looking next-gen game of 2013?

N4G: The Division
Runners up was Killzone for me and Ryse for N4G.

Now that we have went through some top games, let's finish this off by looking back at the top stories here on N4G in 2013. This year, a lot has happened. From the #DealWithIt Microsoft thing and the PS4 reveal, SEGA getting sued for the poor game release, THQ going bankrupt and Eden games also gone. This year has been fullof sadness but it has also been made up of happiness. So with no further a due, let's go through the top N4G stories of this year.
5. THQ and Eden Games departure. This gaming season we have seen a lot of gaming developers leaving due to bankruptcy. This happened a lot this year and two amazing company's are gone. THQ was an amazing developer and made quite nice games. Although Eden procrastinated under Atari with a failed TDU2 title, they'll never be forgotten.
4. LucasArts is gone. As you know, Disney purchased the Star Wars brand some time ago and this meant that the Star Wars game was and is gone. The game was going to bring back many childhood memories for everyone.
3. PS4 and XBox One reveal. You can't get wrong about these. Although Microsoft's first reveal was total garbage, it was nice to see what both consoles had to offer to the table. Both have been breaking records thought their releases and are selling quickly. This is a year for gamers as next-gen is hear.
2. Battlefield 4 and Aliens: Colonials Marines get lawsuited. This was one of the top things that has to teach developers one big lesson, "never publish an unfinished game as gamers will always win". Both games have learned as SEGA and EA was hit my a class action law suit for unfinished games with many glithes and crashes. Both games could have been amazing but they were both ruined.
1. Without further a due, its time for the tip gaming news story of 2013. The top story for me would be known as the "Xbox 180°". This was an amazing win by gamers this year. As you may remember the Xbox one had many DRM policies that a lot of gamers hated. This led to utter rage and for those who remember Don Mat trick, he decided to change the policies the normal.
This year is an an amazing year for gamers from the reveals the the amazing new consoles to the games, this year has been one of the greatest.
Also would like to add one more award, the top Christmas themed game or update in 2013, is GTA Online.
Merry Christmas N4G and Happy New Year!
Hope you all get the consoles you want!

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
