Many of you N4G readers and BF franchise fans like myself have taken notice of the PWP (Physical Warfare Pack) which includes an Exclusive weapon and exclusive attachments that are only available in Europe and only at certain retailers.
To CLEAR THIS UP, the Back To Karkand Expansion is totally fine. The map pack is available to EVERYONE that preorders the game and won't cost an extra dime. The PWP is the reason this boycott was even mentioned.
The exclusive weapons and attachments that were mentioned are EXCLUSIVE TO REGION AND RETAILERS, something a customer does not have full control over. Anyone can preorder the game, but people that don't have access to that specific retailer or live in that specific area won't be able to get the exclusive content. The Shotgun (Dao 12) is fine because it is day 1 access and not completely locked out like the Type 88 and attachments.
SOLUTION: If every item in the Physical Warfare Pack was not exclusive and could be unlocked by RANKING UP or FREE DLC later, then this would not be a problem AT ALL. But Until all items say DAY 1 ACCESS or The PWP is scrapped entirely, then BF3 will continue to see more boycotts.
TO CLEAR UP: BACK TO KARKAND MAP PACK IS FINE! Everyone who preoders has access to it. PWP Is Exclusive To Europe: Only Europeans can access the Type 88 LMG, flash suppressor, and Flechette ammo type if they preoder.
CONCLUSION: If you have anything new you want to add on to this blog article about the PWP situation, message me and I will add any new developments.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
