It took MS over three years to determine that my user name on XBL was too controversial. Gspot was banned. I registered the name after I bought my 360 on launch day over three years ago.
When I turned on my 360 yesterday I was forced to change my user name if I wanted to log into Live. Why now? I don't even play multiplayer games on-line, nor do I contact others, so why would MS force me to do a name change after three years? I did not even have the option to protest to the 360 name police counsel. The worst part is that now 3 years have passed and I can't even use hitthegspot, some one else has registered it and they didn't get banned, go figure.
What's in a name? I thought up the name when gmail was launched. How great would gspot@gmail be? I thought Google would buy it from me when they come out of beta. So I tried to register the name years ago and gspot was too short to register. So I thought hitthegspot@gmail, success, and the name was born. No one used it. I also changed my alias to Gspot@gmail. Brilliant.
Back to MS. So matters must be taken in other ways. I will be writing a letter to MS. I know this is futile, but one must try if they want results. I also have changed my XBL user name. Lets see how long it takes them to find hitthegspotawet. I'm not a pervert, I'm a pissed off adult that should be able to name things what they want, so long as minors are not involved. I will post an update after I hear back from MS.

MindsEye developer Build A Rocket Boy (BARB), the studio established by former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies, has announced its second round of job cuts in eight months.

The expansion comes as the studio prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

What were they thinking? Everyone knows that Gspot stood for Game spot or Gentlemen spot.
