I've been playing GT5P a HELL of a lot recently. Mainly just doing Arcade Time Trials, professional mode and without traction control/ABS/etc. :)
It's a lot of fun. Just trying to get a bit higher on the leaderboards. The best is the high speed ring. Really easy track and you can do it in an average of 1.10 or so (57 in the F1 2007, 1.38 in a Ford Focus lol).
But it's the graphics. They're ANNOYINGLY good. Really, it's like how the HELL are they doing this? I know it's a track, it's linear, it has some cars on track but it probably does trickery to make sure it only has a certain amount of poly's on screen. But still... all that aside it looks TOO GOOD!!
Best car to show off in is the Art Morrison Corvette '60. Go to the tunnel and go into dashboard view. And the shinyness, the PERFECT brushed chrome on the rear headrests (press D-Pad down to look backwards in dashview).

Another awesome dashboard view is the F430. The dials are gorgeous, again brushed chrome, and a carbon fibre centre which -- when in the right angle -- shines in the sun. As does the Ferrari badge in the middle of the wheel. Really, those parts alone compared to the real life counterpart? Indistinguishable.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
...and the truth is GT5p is one hell of a game, -it's one thing that it looks so good but it also plays really well.
I have always said this before and I'll say it again, the GT franchise always sets the bar on every PS system they come out on.. GT4 was just amazing in it's time and just felt unreal how good it was..
Now once again GT5 looks like it's going to set the bar again on PS3. I must say if you play this on an HDTV you can not help but be blown away at the detail, the better the HDTV, a plasma or a 240hz LCD or LED and you begin to understand just how amazing Polyphony Digital really is...
I think he said it best when he said -"these graphics could easily be for PlayStation 4" -this is in-fact the level of detail that has been put into the game, (they have actually scanned the entire car and put it in the game) when you can pull up a picture of a real life photo and put it next to a GT5 shot and have trouble telling which one is the real Life shot...
Then yes that is amazing... Maybe this gaming generation is too spoiled to understand how truly crazy that is, but I understand it all too well, and I'm amazed and excited as I'm sure millions will be when this comes out on the PS3..
There is just simply nothing else like this Game on any Platform... & that's probably why it sells millions every time it comes out

I liked the graphics, but found that GT5p wasn't as good as GT4. I think it was more of an experiment, and GT5 is the real deal. So I can only imagine how awesome GT5 will be.
yea it is the most photorealistic game, and guess what? its from the future... thats why its so superior :D

No one can name another photo real game on a console
that award often goes to GT though.
