We all remember the days spent trying to get the high score on various arcade games. Dropping coins into the machines as if they were nothing. Then there were the days of Mario and Zelda, Sonic, Samus, ect. Those days where you had an adventure and your goal was to save the princess or save the galaxy from evil. Those days are gone and have come come into a community that thrives on Xbox Live. So it begs the question: Which is more important... single player or Multiplayer$0$0$0$0single player... it's what gets us interested in the game. What battle are we in? Who the hell am I playing as? All these are answered in there. Now I am a big fan of shooters. Shooters have a rep of having terrible stories. Well.. that can be seen to be true in many eyes but in mine: games such as Halo, Resistance and the recent Gears 2 have all had amazing stories. They were epic and coop keeps you to coming back for more so you can have those moments with friends. But wait...did I say coop? Isnt that multiplayer? Yes. and I will get into that soon.$0$0$0$0$0Multiplayer. Most people now of days may only play this. Games such as Warhawk, unreal tournament, and others are such games that is ONLY multiplayer. Is this a smart move or a dumb one? Multiplayer is the thing that keeps games being played over and over again. Halo 2, for example, is still being played over 4 years since it was launched. $0$0$0$0$0Ok.. so I dont feel like writing as much as I thought but let me answer this to you. I love the single player... if a game deosnt have some sort of it, I feel is shouldnt be in the stores being sold. But an amazing game like Bioshock that has no Multiplayer is perfectly fine. If a game isnt made to be played well with others, that cant be forced upon it. Coop is a great thing. I feel it is the best aspect because it takes the single player and allows you to enjoy the story with. I feel that this is the only aspect of multiplayer that SHOULD always be tried to be implemented into a game. Devs.. take note: Gamers LOVE coop and we love split-screen$0$0$0$0$0So in my eyes, both are important. They are very important but I am not gonna sit her and say both need to be in a game. It isnt necessary. Games are still made on the single player. People will disagree and I say, "go ahead." But I dare say try to defend yourself. $0
