How a great site becomes Crap...

So I know some one is going to get upset with this, and if they do then FANTASTIC, that means it have served a purpose...

   I've been a member of this site for some time. And while I don't contribute 70 million stories (most of which are crap fanboy articles) to win the contributor of the month award, however I am vocal on some of the crap that's on this site. Some sumbitted stories are the same things written by different sources and contributed as new, but don't try to report them. This action has landed me a ban because supposedly I was reportting a RROD story which made me a Fanboy and I could not report stories for 7 days. WOW!! So lets see, any one who has read any post I have written would know that I try to stay fairly neutral, but I lean toward Sony. I am the kinda guy that roots for the underdog (Go Giants!), so how would I reporting a RROD story make me a MS Fanboy? I reported the story because it said the same crap that every other RROD story says.... instant week ban-- FANBOY. So fine, whatever, I did my week didn't complain about it, just approved... So then I saw this RIDICULOUS anti PS3 story which had already been approved so  I couldn't report it (this after my ban have you know). So I opened it, read it, and laughed at how stupid this piece was. So I came back to the N4G page and began to read the comments, knowing it was a flame bait article, but noticed that it was submitted by what I will call the "Biggest Fanboy of Them All" or from now on BFoTA. While some of you may not know who this character is, I'm gunna say that 90 percent of you do. BFoTA submits a fair amount of stories to N4G but if you ever take the time to look at them, the only ones that heat up are those which anger true gamers, the ones that pull fanboys out and start the biggest fueds since the Civil War. The rest of BFoTA's stories are mere junk. So as I saw he sumbitted this I looked through the comments, I came across one that stated that they noticed this is another story submitted by BFoTA against PS3. I put in a comment stating how I noticed this also and how its getting a little old that it continues. Well needless to say--- Ban- 2 days.... for agreeing to a comment, one I'm sure the other member got banned for also. Wow this sites retarded. So we get banned for seeing a completely untrue, anti-ps3 fanboy story come out and the story stays. So one day I was looking through a site, I believe GamesRadar, but don't hold me to it, and it had this stupid purely sarcastic article about gaming aimed at both PS3 and X360. So as I'm submitting it asks if its a dup, I look, and one story has a similar title, so I click it, and its some serious story about X360, not even close. So I click Not a Dupe. Well to my suprise BFoTA reports it as a dupe, without a link. It still gets approved, all is fine.   (kind of on the same topic, the top story right now on this site is an EXTREMELY ignorant fanboy article written by a member, not BFoTA, and submitted as news when it's merely an unresearchd blog article, stating no facts, but clearly antips3, still approved, no problem....)
  The following day I log on to get the scoop on the gaming industry that day and what happens when I find this awesome article about MGS4, I can't sumbit stories and I get this pop up saying review the rules regarding dupes. So I look at my stories and the one that BFoTA reported is gone, I find it and it says deleted. So I look around and see that the same story was submitted by him and was now at 400 degrees, after the time I had posted it. In the comments people said this, the story stayed and I was again banned 5 days no submissions.


 So this may sound like my whining about my bans but I assure you it's not. Any one on this site that knows who BFoTA is knows that he has a possy of followers that support him. They approve his dupes, he never gets banned for it because every day we see more of his crap and they support his stories by heating them up and start fanboy rants in them. The thing about being banned from certain actions is you look closer at those doing the same thing and not paying the prices. I watched one story get extremely fanboyish in the Gamers Zone and not one of the Pro-360 guys was banned, yet I didn't see the 2 Ps3 supporters names anywhere but the open zone for a few days. Also next time you see a360 fanboy look at their bubbles, they don't drop, they always go up. Then look at a ps3 fanboys, they drop, fast and hard. I used to have 9 now I have 7, my vote used to be 3 now its 1. As for BFoTA, 8 bubbles and last I checked 4 or 6 votes.

   What I have noticed is since I became a member 360 fans have ruled this site, they were the outlaws, they didnt have to follow the rules because the 360 was large and in charge, but over the past 6-8 months the 360 has lost steam, and its lost alot of its voice. The PS3 on the other hand has blown up, the fans have come out of the caves and expressed the love for the system. But this site and its Mod's silence them with bans. The mod's, I assume, don't own PS3... they have been members since the 360 had the firm grasp and they are devoted supporters, so they support BFoTA and his possie. Where as they hate on the Ps3 silently by silencing those who root for it.

  I have gone from loving this site to cringing at the crap that gets posted and the mere ignorance displayed by it's staff.  Many say Kotaku is anti-ps3, but atleast they will vocally do it, N4G is a site run by cowards who hate the Sony name and the rising success of a truly next gen system. This site is awesome for its purpose- gathering alot of news from multiple sources and posting them in one place, but it's worse than the economic state when it comes to being a fair, honest moderated site for all gaming news.

   I think there should be some huge changes to this site, for starters BFoTA should be held massively responsible for his overly showing fanboyish in stories. Fanboys on both sides should be treated equally, ban a ps3 fanboy in the open zone, the 360 fanboy should go down with him. Also, I know you are rewarding those who contribute alot, so that the site is always full with new stuff, but get rid of some of the crap seriously.


  So as for any one reading this, thanks, I know it won't last long and I'm sure I'll recieve another ban for it, but maybe, just maybe some one will get the message that there is some issues around and they will start to fix them. As for the fanboys on either side, Please stop, Just enjoy gaming, you are in the BEST generation of gaming. Enjoy it. So like I said, I'm sure this won't be up long and I'm sure I'll be banned, but I hope it opened the eyes of just one person who counts.
