I just want to put this out there:
Disregarding which console is better, best games, etc. whenever I think about MS's gaming division, I feel like they're main goal is to get money from gamers (And in order to do that, they usually have to try to make them happy), while with Sony I feel like they have the dual goal of supporting they're gaming division, and making happy gamers.
I guess I base this off of stuff like the fact that Sony makes barely any money off PS3s, or that Microsoft charges those insane prices for HDDs.
And that, I guess, is why I'm generally inclined to the Playstation brand rather than Xbox (Well, that and microsfots horrible rep in general :p)
Square Enix has announced a new crossover with the Evangelion will be coming to Final Fantasy XIV in the form of a new Alliance Raid.

While this sci-fi, rogue-like, bullet hell, third-person shooter has issues that keep it from being a classic, it still manages to be exciting and engaging.

In an exclusive interview with Game File, new(ish) Xbox boss Asha Sharma and Xbox chief content officer Matt Booty explain their vision for Microsoft’s gaming division
Pay for Live Cam
Pay for Wireless device
Pay for expensive memory card
Pay for Xbox Live
Pay for gamerpics and backgrounds
Pay for a failed HD-DvD external device
Pay for hdd.
Microsoft are surely milking the money out of their consumers.
Sony and Microsoft have the exact same goal - profit, they just go about it differently. Maybe Sony believes the path to profit is supporting their gamers and using loyalty to meet their ends and, maybe MS doesn't give a damn about the consumer and thinks they won't even care if they screw them over. Maybe its the other way around. But believe me, they both want cash. They just have two different methods of obtaining it.
I want to approve, but it's so short. Could you go into more detail perhaps?
I disagree. MS is all about knocking Sony down and getting as much profit as possible whilst Sony are all about getting to the top and pushing their new formats(PS1=CD player, PS2=DVD Player, PS3=Blu-Ray Player, PSP=UMD) thus resulting in more profits.
Wow, what a compelling argument you present.
You could of just wrote:
"PS3 is the r0ckerz! Xbox 360 is the sucks0rz!"
Oh, yes Sony loves you! I bet they will show up to your elementary school graduation with cake and pie.
