if they modded clearly on being respectful to one another, you would be wrong. considering the situation though, it would be apparent that the guy didnt know what he was talking about... but your style was harsh in calling out... but still a tough moderation style.

I got banned from Gamespot. Thats why I came here. I cant even remember what it was about, but it was very petty. I think it was something about the first Halo being the best and none of the sequels being as good. Something ridiculous like that.

No abuse or threats or anything like that.

The worst part is though, I got a message to say I got banned for 4 days, I just finished reading it when I got another message to say it was for 2 weeks. Was READING the message grounds for futher punishment? I dont know.

Heres the real kicker.
2 weeks passed, couldnt post. A month, 2 months, nothing. I gave up, came here and didnt bother with them after that. Eventually after 6 months I tried again and it worked, but I was still done with the place. It was a sea of PS3 hate anyway. N4G was pretty bad for PS3 hate as well nearly 4 years ago when I joined, but not as bad as Gamespot. It was way more balanced here, so here I stayed.

At least you get a few intelligent remarks here inbetween the fanboy BS.

I used to go to Gamespot years ago, then their quality kinda went down hill and I never bothered to go back. Looks cleaner now, but if im not mistaken are their mods not paid? Instead just active members on the site? Id say an age but last time i did that I got a bunch of hate for it.

This kinda proves it. Guy couldn't take a bit of criticism. Granted saying "this is stupid" isn't the best choice of words, but its not horrible and we have all seen worse.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
