Oh hush. He was one of the ONLY decent things about AOTS. But that's besides the point. The main point of this short blog is addressing the current PSN downtime topic. Now, scanning some of the responses shows that there are some that get it. And there are a LOT that, well... don't. Yes it sucks for many that can't get online to play a lot of their favorite games. Then there are those like myself. I don't really care to play online, so this is basically meh. In addition, no Playstation Store access until this is resolved. Which I can kinda understand them being a little upset about.
But the idea of reimbursement? As I said, scanning comments on a lot of these stories will show you there ARE some who get it. PSN is a service. If service is interrupted, people complain and feel cheated. PSN is also a FREE service, so how is it you feel you should be reimbursed from a service that ultimately costs you NOTHING? That's not how it works.
PS Plus members are, in my opinion, the ONLY ones that deserve reimbursement, mainly because they, you know... PAID for the service. That's it. No one else. You may not like the sound of that, but come on. It's common sense. And I'm willing to bet they will be compensated in some way. But if for some reason they aren't, they will have every right to complain. No exceptions. That's just good customer service. As for the rest? Complain all you want, but if you're not paying for the service, they don't owe you a thing.
To add, this is not me saying that people shouldn't be upset about the current situation regarding the security breach, however. THAT I can completely understand people being angry about, but how about throwing some of that vile and anger the hacker's way, huh?
Announcing the 10th Generation of Pokémon; Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves launches in 2027 worldwide. Starters also revealed!
Looks decent but I’ll wait for more info, Pokemon has this thing where the reveal looks super promising but they always fumble at release
The starters are a tad disappointing, the chonky dog looks adorable and probably my main pick so far but the other two are basically Rowlett and Sobble 2.0.

There’s no doubt that Tales of Berseria Remastered lives up to its billing and delivers the definitive version of one of Bandai Namco’s best role-playing games. Featuring a beautifully constructed story full of emotional twists and turns, Berseria has aged well and deserves to be revisited. Newcomers and veterans alike will enjoy the new quality-of-life upgrades to this incredible game.

Gamigo plans to relaunch the classic MMORPG Medieval as part of its MMO comeback strategy. Rift remains listed in the publisher’s active portfolio.
The only people who will get a "reimbursement" of some type are DC Universe Online subscribers. It will likely come in the form of an extra week to one month of extended service on top of their current subscription plan.
There are no "reimbursements" otherwise. PS+ -- would everyone please stop calling it PSN+? -- pays for extra content and options, not for expanded online access. The only thing that PS+ provides that is unavailable right now is Cloud Storage. Otherwise, everything else is done with your standard PSN account access. PS+ users aren't going to lose out on any free games or promotions because of the outage. They're still going to get their standard free games.
Now, it's not unlikely that everyone won't get a chance (one week period) to download a free game, likely costing between $6 and $10. Other than that, not sure they will do much else.
