As you can see in the picture, Jim Sterling himself took the liberty to intellegently and constructively reply with great handwriting to my comment on twitter, the best damn website in the world. While my comment does make a lot of sense, the swearing and flamming in it does lower the quality of the comment so he was able to use that to his advantage to make it look bad. But since I have been touched (albiet inappropriately) by fame, I will now have to explain why I made that comment and why Destructoid remains one of the worst websites for gaming ever.
Take a look at Destructoid's history in reviewing games. You will notice every single PS3 game on that website has been given an incredibly low score. Everything from Uncharted to Resistance to LBP has always been given a 6 at the greatest. One could argue that Jim Sterling's mind is unable to comprehend too much awesome at once so he assumes that game is terrible. But I think the more obvious explanation is that Jim Sterling is a raging fanboy who just wants to ensure that no PS3 games ever has a score higher than a 70 on Metacritic. So he does what he does best, make a little website to give his little opinion on games in order to put a dent in PS3 exclusives. Does Metacritic actually matter? No. Not when they accept such biased reviews as Jim Sterlings. But to fanboys, Metacritic will always matter and those who have the choice to shape it will do so.
So it came as a surprise to me when Destructoid actually released a positive PS3 review for once. Killzone 3 managed to get a perfect 10 . Why would they do this? Jim Sterling is an obvious fanboy who hates every PS3 game ever right? Then I looked at other reviews and realised that the meta score for Killzone 3 is going to be pretty mediocre even if Destructoid were to actually give it a pefect review. So this would be the perfect time for Jim Sterling to prove he is "not a fanboy" and give it a perfect score. After all, the meta score is screwed anyway so this is the perfect backhanded compliment as well as a cover up of his own agenda. Everyone wins, except for PS3 of course.
Im pretty surprised at the amount of negative feedback I got for my comment. Especially considering all the negative feedback that is usually directed at destructoid. Just because they have one "positive" score for a ps3 game doesnt mean that all of a sudden they are on your side and I find is incredibly hard to believe that the majority of N4G fell for that review. Learn to read between the lines and see that this was just Jim Sterling covering his own ass to make it seem like he is not a fanboy. Destructoid is still the same corrupt, biased, unprofessional website it has always been and that will never change. I can only hope Destuctoid will one day be banned from Metacritic because that would be the best slap in the face for them.
Also, thanks for commenting on my comment so fast Jim. I know you must be very busy and have a lot going on in your life so im glad you took the time to stalk N4G and respond to the first little commenter you saw.

A major Overwatch overhaul is coming. Includes new characters, maps, events, a revamped UI, and the removal of the "2" from Overwatch 2's title.

Nintendo confirms Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has sold over one million copies across Switch and Switch 2 combined.

It's not much to go on, but the first screenshot for Evangelion: Cross Reflections, the upcoming VR game based on the anime, has arrived.
Lol don't worry about it man. Jim is clearly insecure if he's willing to go to such measures. Actually that's the first time I've ever seen an image of the guy (I don't READ destructoid, I just laugh at their articles that appear on N4G), the dude is DEFINITELY insecure lol.
I left Destructoid and came here. Never looked back. Back in 2007 mention anything about PS3 having good games and most 360 games run on middleware that could run equal on PS3, you were just walking into hell.
Now they actually credit the PS3. It's stupid it took Uncharted 2 to do that even though arguably at the time, Uncharted DF was the finest animated, detailed, perfect game out there and exclusive to PS3. Everyone chose to ignore it and deemed it 'average' and praised games that didn't look as good, nor animated as well based on middleware.
Also, these guys were tracking Infamous a year before launch, so they kind of got redeemed, but as a social site. Never joining or commenting again.
Jim Sterling is also brutally honest in his opinion. Watch Jimquisition, it's actually damned funny satire. Still a bit of an over opinionated git though.
You should sue him. i hate this guy
So, you assumed he's an anti-PS3 fanboy because he didn't like a few PS3 games, and then treat any action he does as a an attempt to dent the PS3's image? O.o
If he gives KZ3 a negative score, he's a fanboy.
If he gives it a good score, he's a fanboy trying to cover his ass.
When you've already judged a website to eternal damnation, then your criticism towards it holds little weight since there is absolutely nothing they can do to make you happy.
I checked up on a few of destructoid's scores, maybe I'm visiting a different site, but I see games like GodOfWar3, GT5, MGS4, and Uncharted2 among others with high scores. Jim didn't review them, but still... he reviewed Killzone2 though and gave it a good score.
EDIT: Looks like I got ninja'd by DK up there.
