I was one of the lucky people to participate in the GT5 Prologue developers chat with Polyphony Digital on the Playstation.com message boards. One question asked to the development team regarded the official release window for GT5 (the full game), they stated "Summer 2009". Here's hoping they stick to that date, more info coming soon.

GameSpot writes: "How the developers support Marathon over the long term will determine whether it can sustain interest the way other successful live-service games have, but Bungie's fundamentals are incredibly strong, and Marathon is much richer and deeper than its 20-minute matches would suggest. Tau Ceti IV calls, and there are runs to complete."
GamesRadar says: "Marathon steals the breath from your lungs. An intense shooter that thrives on PvP encounters and a well-realized setting, Bungie's extraction shooter is off to an exceptional start – and I don't see myself putting it down any time soon."
that seems a little ambitious if you ask me, not that you did, but if you did...
I would say more like Sept-Dec of 09.. is more like it. It always takes longer then expected. But I'm really enjoying GT5p right now so it's all good.
