There have been many rumors flying about what the PSP2 is going to have in it, so I decided to put in my two cents worth on the issue.
The current PSP has several issues to it.
Now for the Issues I've heard with the PSP2 ideas. The PSP2 is supposed to get rid of the UMD format and incorporate a built in flash drive. The issue with the built in flash drive is the limitation on space. While it would make the PSP more portable, and give it a better battery life (without the need to spin a disk, the batter will last longer) it is limited on space. It's rumored it's only going to have 8gb of internal Memory. 8 gigabytes is way too little space to hold any decent amount of games. And for the people with UMDs, how are they supposed to play their games?
Here's what I think should happen with the PSP2. The PSP2 should come with at least 16gb of built in memory with the option to have more put into it as a Memory Stick Pro Duo. Leaving it expandable up to 32gb. Also coming with a legal option for transferring your UMD's to the PSP or the PS3. I say the PS3 because as an offset and the extension of current software it'd be simple to download PSP games from the PSN to the Playstation 3. That way whenever you're in a WiFi hotspot (which are becoming quite common these days) you can access your PS3 and stream games over the internet to your psp, reducing the need for a spinning disk, and a large internal memory on the PSP. While not an original concept, it's one that hasn't been put into practice as of yet, and with something like the PSP it can't hurt.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
yea i tottaly agree with you especially with #2 i mean i was playing online and i think the battery lasts like a good 2-3 hours max. The psp needs a huge overhaul of the whole system. It needs a longer battery life and a camera and other stuff that i dont feel like writing right now...
Lol, yeah. And remember the GPS function that's been promised (in America, I realize Japan had one released) on the PSP since it first launched? When I was in Best Buy recently, I saw a PS3 running a demo showing the PSP using a GPS. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
