Hello, I was wondering if any of you guys/gals still exist. I remember the days when one and all enjoyed talking about the things we love which are video games. When people could own any console and have any opinion without getting flamed, it was glorious back then. Some people now treat "said" consoles as idols. BLASPHEMER! How dare you say that about "x" consoles/games. Which brings me to my point of this post. The blatant idiocy of the posts as a result of E3 articles are stupid. "insert game console manufacturer" copied and stole "x"! This has been going on for years, but you know what good comes from it....wait for it....INNOVATION! If game companies are continually challenged to "one up" the competitor it boasts well for us, the end consumer. Do you some of you people understand how boring it would be if we just had one option? It would suck. "No sorry we don't sell HALO or God Of War, we only have Barbie All Stars!". Sorry that might appeal to a few. All consoles offer something to the gaming community, which is excellent. We all should be excited from the recent E3. While I thought Nintendo was dismal, both Sony and MS have some great things to offer gamers now and in the future. "Gamer" isn't that a better word than "fanboy". I am not saying it isn't all right to like a console. It's just ridiculous to treat it as though it was a living and breathing thing. Hell maybe it is for some of you. I don't know. Enjoy the games, and stop the hate!

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "While not carrying the same heft it enjoyed long ago, last year was one of the adventure genre's most commercially-successful years in this century. A Telltale-esque adventure eclipsing 3 million sales in three months would be the talk of the town were it not for another adventure game hurdling over 10 million sales in two. Though not all finalists reached those heights, each did share a greater amount of spotlight compared to similar titles within their respective sub-genres.
Past any sales thresholds and popularity contests, 2025 also deserves credit for its creativity; the last time our entire shortlist consisted exclusively of new IPs was for Best Adventure Game of 2020. An impressive year for the genre, with even greater potential ahead."
Inti Creates’ vibrant action platformer Majogami will shed its Switch console exclusivity and strike PS5 on 28th May, the Japanese dev has announced.

Bandai Namco announced today that its popular flight simulator-lite Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has passed another sales milestone.
Great game, and deserves all its sales. Ace Combat has always been a great series. I should replay AC7 again for the fourth time.
It’s unfortunate that Ace Combat8 won’t have vr, as the devs felt it would be too much work and they would be essentially making two games.
Would love a release of Ace Combat6 on PlayStation, but I’d be fine with Ace3,4&5 remasters for PS5 with updated tightened controls.
Just not how you presented it. You should huck in some formatting, maybe a paragraph or two. Perhaps write it up and then proof read it. I just detect a lack of effort. Maybe this would work better as a forum topic... that way noone has to approve it before it becomes publicly viewable.
I understand your anger and i agree, that's why I approved... but the formatting?? really that is probably why it has not been approved yet... maybe with just a little more thought and effort this could be a great article... for now it's just one big ol' ranting paragraph.. doesn't help your cause much really. Nor you for that matter.
Just my opinion :/
You are 100% right!
I wish I could agree but I can't help but think you might be remembering or imagining the old days a bit too fondly. I'm old enough to remember the terrible war that broke out between Sega and Nintendo back in the days of 16 bits. I remember shipping out to the front line with my rifle and my copy of Gamesmaster magazine, ready to kill young men no older than I, for what? What did all the bloodshed get us? Crazy Taxi? Wii fit? Was it really worth it?
My best friend these days is an ex Nintendo soldier, I myself fought for Sega. We meet for tea and trade war stories once or twice a month and it's almost funny to us now, that these people were sent to fight and die to protect the honour of a gaming company that they weren't even employed by. People have always done it and so long as there are people they always will do it. It's all such a terrible waste. Especially since Atari already achieved console perfection with the Jaguar.
i like this guy hes smart.
I still love talking about games.Forget Sony,MS,Nintendo,sales reports,and metacritic.
I eagerly anticipate Metroid Prime Other M,Uncharted 2,Gran Turismo 5,Alan Wake,Splinter Cell Conviction and Super Mario Galaxy 2.These games will be bursting with quality in graphics, music, art direction, story, game mechanics and most importantly fun.
Just bring the games back to the gamers, not the trolls, fanboys, stockbrokers,an d "journalists"
