Signs are pointing to it being very possible that we will indeed get this, especially since PS4 files were found in one of the DLC updates.
So this seems more than likely but sadly it has not been announced so that kind of makes me a little worried that we may not see it. Rockstar is in a really tricky position.
Of Course it seems like a no brainier to just bring this to nex-gen, I mean the game sold over 34 million copies on consoles. So it seems kind of crazy this has not been announced yet. I don’t know about you, but I would love to play this on my PS4. I’m sure a lot of gamers would love to play it again. But can you just do a simple port, or does there need to be more. I think if you really want it to sell well and do really well, you have to add new content. Just being on nex-gen is not enough.
Now some signs point to possible DLC that is coming out for GTA V being included in the PS4 & XOne versions of the game. Kind of like the DLC content we saw for GTA IV which had two parts - The ballad of Gay Tony and the lost and damned. This was a really huge DLC pack with a lot of content. Well worth the price of admission. So this would make GTA V on PS3 and 360 have a paid DLC while the nex-gen version would get this included on the disc for free. Is that enough to get you to buy the game again. There could also be new story being added to the game, with the DLC for the nex-gen versions.
Whatever the case may be Rockstar is indeed hard at work on something, some are saying it’s Part 2 to Red Dead Redemption which has been designed for nex-gen. The problem there is that may be too early in developement for it to be releasing anytime soon, in-fact I think it's more then likely that right now Rockstars focus is on GTA V for the PC which was suppose to announce in March but got pushed back to June.
This also makes more sense as the game far exceeded anyone's expectations, even Rockstars. So making DLC for your biggest game ever is not something you probably want to rush, not to mention there is a good chance you could really sell some huge numbers of GTA V on nex-gen consoles.
There is also rumors that the reason Heist DLC has not come out is because Rockstar is hard at work on the PC port and getting the game ready for the re-release on nex-gen with this new content, so why not just release it like the other DLC that has come out. It seems the Heist DLC requires more time because it is tied to the money system. Which if you play the game, you know has been hacked and caused a lot of players to find glitches and obtain millions in their in-game currency. (So naturally Rockstar is trying to address this before moving forward with releasing content they hope you will pay for)
In a recent interview they said, ““We don’t know what GTA VI will be, but we’ve got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right now. There ain’t no rest between finishing V and then Online. Plus we have some other things – stuff, DLC, I don’t know how to describe it exactly – that we’d like to do, and we’ll pick the right ones.”
So Are you going to buy this again if we get it for nex-gen, or are you going to need some new content or new missions or something to make you buy the game again?

Mobile Suit Gundam Code Fairy, R-Type Final 3 Evolved, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, and Cris Tales exit PS Plus in March 2026.
I don't know to be honest but most probably I will just rent it.
I would be pissed if they announced next-gen version but no PC version around the corner. That would be insulting
Didn't buy it for ps3 or Xbox 360. So Yes I would buy it, but it wouldn't be "again" :)
I can only imagine the mods that the community will do. That alone is a reason to purchase the game.
If there were an upgrade option like BF4, COD Ghosts, etc than maybe, but otherwise no i wouldn't
I need GTAV on PC.
The greatest travesty of the situation right now is that I want Watch Dogs because I need something current to fill my next-gen open world needs on PC.
Rockstar would have my money in a heartbeat, but they're playing games and May 27 is getting closer.
