Well thats what brings me to this month's big Idea. Yesterday I was buying one of those PS3 Limited Edition Gun Metal MGS4 bundles, and I started thinking... Why did I buy this, I don't really need another PS3, I already have a 60gig and it's been nothing but amazing.
But I guess I got caught up in all the hype about MGS4. To make matters worst I already have the game reserved at Gamestop and I already paid for it in full. So I really didn't need to buy the Limited Edition bundle.
So what does this have to do with getting a PS3 for $10 bucks? Good question...
I started thinking, you know what would be cool, what if I just auction it off right here on N4G.com. I mean a lot of people can't really just run out and buy a PS3, but what if I did 70 tickets at 10 bucks a piece. (to give someone here a chance at getting a PS3 for $10 bucks)
That way your chances of winning would be really high, since there will only be 70 tickets or people, however you want to say it in total. So using paypal anyone who wants a chance at getting the PS3 for $10 bucks would send a payment to my paypal. Then I would put your name here in a list of all buyers. (of course it would only be for N4G.com users )
To me this just seems like a really cool way at having a Real chance of winning one. with only 70 people you have a real serious chance, and not to mention it should be a lot of fun. Just watching all the people who decided to join in and actually seeing someone here win the limited PS3 for $10 bucks
(I mean whoever does win is going to be really excited about getting a Limited MGS4 PS3 for just $10 bucks. I know I would be too excited) Who knows it might even be an Xbox 360 fanboy who wins, now that would be funny. They might just start playing it and realize they like the dark side of the force... LoL :)
I'm just kidding, but either way you gotta admit it would be pretty cool either way, I mean it's a PS3 for 10 bucks, who here would not love that.
If
we don't get 70 people in the comments then I'll just put it up on eBay
instead.
-So why 70 tickets, because 70 x $10 dollars is $700 and that would cover the system which cost me$620 with shipping and to ship it to the new person will be like $40 to $45 from my area. -And paypal takes a few cents off of ever $10 dollars so it's more like $9.31 cents. so $9.31 x 70 = $651.00 which just about covers price of system and shipping it to the winner.
(Just so you know I would not be making money off the auction, and besides that's not why I would do it. I was going to do it because it would be cool for someone here to get a PS3 for $10 bucks) and if people like the idea maybe we could do one again sometime when another big game comes out. Like Killzone 2 if they do it like this game and bundle it with the system.
So What do y'all think? by show of hands write in the comments would you buy a $10 dollar ticket or not. - if 70 people say yes, I'll do it here on the site in a blog. All you have to say is yeah I'm in.
Then I'll auction it off and I'll put all the names in a bowl and try to make a live you tube video of the drawing.
-and someone here will actually win a Gun Metal limited Edition MGS4 PS3 bundle.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

I smell a scam!
you'll proably trick a few mentally challenged kids into it
G'luck to you.
I would be up for it, providing you will be able to ship it to the UK
Ah, looks like us limeys are out of the question, then...
I myself already have a PS3, but I have to admit, this really is a cool idea, and it sure would be nice to win a PS3 for $10. I suppose it's just a matter of whether enough people would want to participate.
Man I missed it.
