GotY Nominees - Part 3: The Final Stuff

Continuing on from Part 2, http://n4g.com/user/blogpos... if you missed it, we are continuing to get our nominees for this year's GotY categories. For each one of the categories, submit up to 3 nominees. Just reply with your nominees to the following categories and you will not only help to determine who is up for winning in each category but will also be entered for a chance to win a $100 or $50 Amazon Gift Card. This is a completely new drawing for a completely new set of gift cards, it is not tied to the Part 1 or Part 2 Contest.

GOTY Nominee Categories - Part 3: The Final Stuff

1. Gaming News Story of the Year
Good or bad, what story was one that we couldn't stop talking about and/or had the greatest impact in the industry.

2. Most Anticipated Game of 2017

3. Fail of the Year
Disappointing, broken, or just plain ole bad

4. Indie Game of the Year

5. Game of the Year

Note: You don't have to have three nominees for each category nor nominees in each category, just put in what you can. Remember that the games or content had to be originally released in 2016. Rereleases on other platforms in 2016 do not count if it originally released in 2015 on one or more other platforms.

Rimeskeem3366d ago

Every site I went said so. But tbh I have no idea.

"3. Scalebound cancellation"

What are you talking about? That category's focused on games, not announcements. And that was announced in 2017.

Sparta073366d ago

" game news of the year "
So yes scalebound cancellation does count for that.
But your right that was just n 2017 not 2016.
Maybe next year 🤓

coolbeans3366d ago

@Sparta07

No, Rimeskeem placed it under "Fail of the Year," not "Gaming News Story." Fail of the Year is focused on '16 games that were disappointing, broken, or flat-out bad.

lolosgolos3364d ago

FB of the year. Quantum break is good the show was bad. No Man's Sky on the other had and PS 4 pro are fails of the year

Sparta073364d ago (Edited 3364d ago )

QB was bad game period. A bad game is a bad game. Gameplay sucks, story sucks and live cutscenes sucked.
Same with NMS, but at least they are still doing updates on it. ( a little too late )
😂 The Pro sold out this holiday and it also outsold it's competitor.
If you think the PRO is a failure I could image what you think about Xboxone 😏

Alba Wildlife Adventure Review 2026 | Still Worth Your Time | Spawning Point

Photograph birds and clean up a Mediterranean island. Alba is short, warm, and quietly important. The wildlife catalogue drives exploration naturally. The conservation message lands because the game earns it through gameplay rather than lecturing. A family-friendly adventure that respects its audience's intelligence.
