E3 2016: Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 #2

Nintendo continues their coverage live from the E3 floor. With yesterday's huge, and long time coming, reveal of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wind, we are unsure what to expect during the second day. Nintendo may spend more time on Pokemon Sun and Moon as well as explore new details regarding the latest Zelda Game.

Whassup my fellow Nintendo fans ARE YOU READY FOR MORE ?ZELDA? AND ?POKEMON?!!
I myself thought the coverage of them has already been quite thorough especially Zelda.
But I would not complain. Will this be the best Zelda yet??

I'll take the disagrees as a no. You know, someone could actually at least offer up some sort of argument why they think so or some sort of decent conversation. Rude.

Someone has a name, it's Hoffmann, and it is an awesome name and person that everyone should know

The new Zelda looks F$#%ing amazing an all the anti Nintendo trolls are desperately pretending to make out like it doesn't look like one of the best games ever. Over criticism just comes off as blatently sour...

The fact is that soon we will be playing a Zelda game 12 times the size of Twilight princess ;)

Hoffmann3545d ago (Edited 3545d ago )

It is basically impossible to top Zelda 3, Ocarina of Time, MM, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker.

Today I read a few opinion articles by writers that played the game, and not all of them liked it. Seems it might be a mixed bag that is more Elder Scrolls than Zelda. If not even the NintendoEhthusiasts.com writer can be enthusiastic about the game, I doubt I could.

SilverClock3545d ago

Thank you, Hoffman. That is an awesome name btw.
I can see where those writers are coming from, from the gameplay I have seen so far. I personally like the Elder Scrolls though (and a lot of other people do too) so I'm not sure how that's a bad thing? Was there anything else specific that you didn't like about it?

Also not every one of the games you mentioned can be #1....so one of them surpassed all of the other ones...right? You don't think BoW getting the #2 spot is feasible?

wonderfulmonkeyman3545d ago

I've read plenty of opinion articles in the past day or so, too, and 98% of those I read were highly in favor of what they played.
And that's just a demo with the towns and NPC's cut out to avoid spoilers!
Most of the articles that I read that didn't like it, were quibbling over those missing elements, or bitching that Link wasn't a girl, and I don't take those sorts of complaints as legitimate.XD

This e3 was very lackluster from all companies except Sony as usual, it's like there the only ones who truly understand us gamers, as an Xbox one owner I was very underwhelmed with Microsoft, I'd rather spend money on PS VR, 400 is actually very reasonable price compared to oculus and vice

It was lackluster for Sony too. God of War and Spider-Man were the only games from Sony that got me excited.

E3 is becoming more and more irrelevant.

SilverClock3545d ago

Can everyone stop being so damn depressing I came to watch Zelda dammit and all you guys are bringing the mood down. Go gloat about Sony elsewhere I like Sony too but dammit this is Zelda time and I've been waiting for this!

This new Zelda game is definately my type of game. Open world with lots to see and do. It will come down to the story and the dungeons whether it's the best Zelda. My gut tells me it will be the best though.

gangsta_red3545d ago

Sorry my man, but the law of the land requires that you and everyone else be reminded constantly that Sony won.

RE Requiem Path Traced Optimized Settings: RTX 4060, 5050, 4060 Ti, 5060, 4070 & 5070

Resident Evil Requiem runs on Capcom’s RE Engine, which isn’t particularly suited for large, open-world games. Fortunately, the RE franchise mainly features smaller, secluded environments. The engine has been upgraded to incorporate a unified path tracing pipeline, including shadows, reflections, and global illumination.
