Can someone explain why they spend absurds amount of time on the sports titles? Who are they trying to appeal to? The people who buy Madden/Fifa would buy it every year regardless of whether you not it was ever advertised anywhere. They don't care what you add or remove, as long as it exists their $60 will be plopped in front of the cashier on release day.

EA conference was a bit dead this year i was dozing off a few times. any way i was looking out for BF1

4/10. Worst conference I've seen in a very long time. I walked away after they showed Star Wars because of how boring it was. Also funny, Titanfall 2 is almost literally looking to be the same as COD Infinite Warfare. Garbage. #F**KEA

I really didnt enjoy that conference at all. I was hoping for more teasing of what they were working on for star wars game and more mass effect footage.

That bf1 multiplayer steam vs commentary at the end was bloody annoying (StoneMountain et al) and pretty random youtube intro video mashup

Bad conference. As far as I'm concerned they showed 2 games. Battlefield and titanfall which looked the same. Mass effect was a tease, no Star Wars, and spent about half the conference on Fifa and madden. Very bad conference. I don't understand why they won't show mass effect

God, that conference was so underwhelming. Totally took the wind out of my sails for E3 hype. Here's to hoping Bethesda steps up...

No SSX old or new (Tricky ps2 classics or a new sequel to the most recent one) no new Skate 4... EA your proper boring. Not even a sniff of a new Burnout Paradise... Fail.

T2 and BF1 are both high on my list...but if I am grading that conference its a C. I think it was extremely light on content and I felt a good chunk of the conference was just staged scripted banter and more we have nothing to show yet but will show you something vid docs to fill time.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
