Pending Issues

There are currently some issues with pending and approving certain stories (and even failing).

If you have a submission that should have shown in pending or should have been approved based on number of approvals, please submit a ticket about the submission via http://n4g.com/tickets/add/... .

We have a temporary work around to make sure they show up until the issue is resolved on the back end.

Thank you,
Christopher

P.S. And, yes, the developers are looking into this issue right now.

How do you check your notifications at anytime?

Christopher3549d ago (Edited 3549d ago )

Edit: Nix that, see below. Even I didn't know this was implemented.

why does it give error when accessing n4g on mobiles over slower network? this has been my prime issue nowadays. it works when browsing using WiFi but not when you're on mobile internet.

Chris why can't I delete my old private massges?

I am on a smart phone but when I go into my PM and check all the messages I want to delete and press delete nothing happens.

Christopher3548d ago

@nix and @Fin_The_Human: Please use feedback! I am not a developer. Only they can answer these sort of things. I'll copy and send these on to them, but you honestly should feedback every issue/suggestion you have. Please.

comments section are all over the place i hope you are taking the feedback, it's so annoying now when you want to see your comments in an article.

Christopher3549d ago

Keep using the feedback form. They are listening to you, telling me is just me telling them the same thing. It matters when you tell them directly.

rainslacker3549d ago (Edited 3549d ago )

I'd say use feedback. I sent something in saying how hard it is to find news now compared to the old layout, giving details of the problems, and they actually did respond back with something that felt it was personalized to what I said, and not just some stock reply.

As to what I mentioned, they said they're working on the layout, and changes would come to hopefully improve it for article discovery. Just hope it's before E3.:) I miss the days when I could fine 10-20 interesting articles, or at least some stuff to get my fan boy on in the discussion threads.

Since the pending section has the same issues with finding good news, it may resolve the fact so much is going unnoticed now, although that's a separate issue from what this blog is about.

I've seen what they have planned. The key element is user customization. Some people will still hate it, but their goal is letting you decide what you see and how.

rainslacker3549d ago (Edited 3549d ago )

I'll give it a go when it comes. My only issue with the site right now is discovering articles(liked the old page format as it was easier to just go through the days articles). And I am kind of annoyed not being able to jump to comments anymore, but heard that was being worked on as well somewhere.

Otherwise, the site is fine.

Anyhow, didn't mean to hijack the blogs topic on this topic.:)

I did my first review submission and it is not showing under all, creating, pending, accepted, or rejected. Is there a workaround for this or should I simply resubmit. I don't want to double post if it will work out on its own soon. Thanks

Well, that explains a ton. Thanks for the post with info.

Taxi Chaos 2 (XS) Review | VGChartz

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "Taxi Chaos 2 is a car crash that could've been a serviceable game. That aspirational limit isn't meant to be denigrating. A simple reality has to be recognized that the next Crazy Taxi won't happen without greater investment into presentation and mechanics; even getting within spitting distance won't happen until every component can eclipse the original's sub-par standards. Beneath this wreckage, however, Focuspoint (and/or publisher Current Games) has a neat foundation to work with: AI competition, real-time city changes, and so on. They're kernels of something that could be useful behind a team with the right parts; until then, you're just settling for a rust bucket with another expensive fare."

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Review – A Zombie Detection Sim Done Right | The Outerhaven

The Outerhaven writes: Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a very unique and interesting game with enough gameplay to make you want to boot it up at random to check a few people, just to keep humanity safe. It does have some small issues with soft-lock missions, but that’s not really worth mentioning when you’re having so much fun.
