Previous Gears of War games was my favorite games ever (except Fallout 2 :p) and IMHO on of the best ever made. I am a big fan of GeoW universe and of course i want to play beta not only to receive a gaming experience, but also to help developers to make this game better.

The reason I believe I should get a key is when the original game was released I was suffering from TB, the game gave me the extra energy and enthusiasm to stay strong and carry on recovering I could say the game was a bit of a life saver and helped changed my life around.

Because I want my faith restored in Epic and their exclusive franchise title for the 360 after the weak showing that was Gears of War 2. I lived on the original Gears of War every day for over a year straight and when Gears 2 came out I was like a kid in a candy store with a pocket full of money. That is until I got home and sat down and actually played the game.

Wasn't a fan of the story. Dominic STFU! Nobody gives a damn about Maria! Hated the ending (especially the final boss battle which was nothing but a sequence of timed events). The online was horrid and it took them longer to fix the damn thing than I had the patience to wait on. I still own the game but haven't touched it in ages. I am hoping Epic brings back P2P so you can setup friendly matches with random people instead of the stupid lobby only system.

At least give us a better running and easier to connect to online service. Hopefully dedicated servers will help with this. Gears of War 3, besides Forza 4, is the only game I am looking forward to on my 360 in 2011. Pardon the pun but I hope it's EPIC!

My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. The Gears of War series is what got me back into video games. Three years ago I had moved on to other hobbies. Then one day while taking a cross country flight I saw a gaming magazine that had screens and info on Gears of War 2. I was so impressed with it I decided to get an Xbox 360.

When finally getting my Xbox 360 Gears 2 was the first game I played. I was never impressed with Master Chief or Shooter characters. They seemed to lack distinction. In Gears the muscle headed characters had attitude and they fought for survival in a harsh world against an enemy that was both fantastically realized and formidable. It was truly a next-gen experience and was was hooked on gaming again.

Suffice to say, after I played Gears of War 2 I was hooked. Now I contribute to the gaming community. If I were to win this Beta I would definitely write about it for at least one site and N4G (if I am allowed).

There are good games and there are games that redefine gaming. The Gears of War Series is one of those that always redefines and raises the bar on what we can expect.

I've been playing gears ever since gears one, and I'm actually still playing gears 2 every day. Its very painful. Gears 2 is still not the game I dream of, whereas gears 3 is that magic game that might bring my life joy. I'm playing the Gears 3 Beta and I was a shotgun whore in Gears 1. Well I can tell those that haven't played it. Shotgunning is back in Gears 3. At least in this Beta. So is the speed and faking out players by going around them and shooting them in the back. Yes it feels good. At the same time though some of the same shit from Gears 2 is back, like the ridiculous stopping power of the hammerburst and lancer. Tagging walls. It's a fair balance though. I'm just glad I can roll around and fake out with speed.

In one match I killed 4 players myself with the gnasher and downed the fifth and my kill was stolen. I got 17 kills in total. I knew then Gears 1 was back. One of my favorite new weapons is the Digger. That's an impressive show stopper of a weapon. It can take out an entire team if shot at the right moment. Seeing 5 kills spread across the hub and hearing players say Dayum! Holy Shit! is a good feeling. The other fun weapon is the Retro Lancer's charging and stabbing kill. That raises the player off the ground. It's nice humiliating payback weapon when you're pissed at another player, but just like the chainsaw. You're vulnerable and 9 out 10 times. They'll kill you while you're stuck in the animation.

Gears of War is one of the best gaming series' I have ever played. The first one, in my opinion, was groundbreaking. I look forward to seeing how EPIC games will push the already solid gameplay mechanics further. Having the fortune of participating in the beta would be brilliant, not only to fully experience the GoW universe in this concluding game ... but also to make said experience the best it can be for everyone.

I would like a beta key just to try out the third latest installment of the Gears Of War franchise however i don't think i necessarily deserve it. I knew the only way to get in the beta was either to pre-order or buy the bulletstorm edition but that game was not of my liking. With college taking a portion of my time I don't mind be given the chance to relax and try one of my favorite games from EPIC. Im not a hardcore gamer to the point where I MUST have this beta entrance, but however, if i do not obtain it, theres always a big textbook for me to read. I will admit though, that the beta videos i've seen so far is astonishingly amazing. I think it would be awesome if I got a code because I spent most, if not all of yesterday(tuesday) at my college on my day off from work. I was there finishing a new logo design for the college that if chosen, will be used as the new logo for the college and this project is also an assignment.

I believe that I should get this beta key because of my stunningly good looks and killer sense of which beaches are perfect for long walks. All kidding aside, I think it would be great to experience Gears multiplayer this time around to see what's changed, it looks like a really good time.
