I think some non-gaming stuff would be interesting. We usually get a pretty good idea about people's gaming habits if they stick around the main page or the forums long enough.

How about what they do for a living? Do they keep pets? Pee standing up or sitting down? That sort of stuff.

Like the other day I found out one of our forum guys is a radio host. Thought that was pretty cool.

Streaming competitions come to mind. PC user vs. PC user

PS3 vs. PS3 user and Xbox 360 user vs. xbox 360 user.
Lightweight browser app, robust, not taxing on resources and something asthetically pleasing, perhaps the GUI would reflect the websites design.

I think streaming competitions would set the bar for gaming websites and would put N4G above sites like IGN that have been around much longer.

Make it happen! So we can have a truly valid reason to rip on fanboys. e.g: sucking in games after talking trash, LOL.

Something similar to justin.tv, but better in every way.

Have a tag for everyone. Other members vote on what the name should be, then after voting, the tag is under them like hardcore 360 fanboy or ps3 droid or old gamer for older people here.

You know, I have a great idea for N4G, that would make it a whole lot easier to look up news on N4G. Over the years, it's got more hustle and bustled with 'debate stories'. Most the time I look for news, previews reviews, games, developer interviews, portmortems, etc.

I'd actually like something so I can 'mark' series such as 'Ratchet and Clank' or 'Serious Sam' so any news headline referring to the series gets instantly sent to me, and filter genres such as FPS, Platformer, Third Person Shooters, Sandbox games so N4G would automatically have them listed in a section when I log in.

It'll probably be complicated though as it's getting more difficult to list a genre of a game these days as they all begin to blur and would make submission just that more annoying when selecting from a 'genre tab' too.

Don't lie to me Cat! If you're involved it's going to be at least a little creepy.

Id like a dedicated N4G achievement system so all id have to do is enter my gamertag/ID and people could see the achievements ive won.

And if your going to redo N4G, id really like the submit news pages to be more streamlined, thers way to much loading.

Id also like some sort of user name screening. Im tired of all of the names that give agames story away. Wouldnt it be easy to send someones profile to a MOD to check if its a good username (if not they wil be forced to change it or not have one).

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
