We all know the 360s exclusive lineup is looking a little sparse for the last half of the year. MS also knows this and has rather focused on sales numbers and the like. But they have hinted that they still have some secrets and surprises up their sleeves, or where ever they keep them.
And that makes E3 a very interesting place to watch. MS will probably bring out the big guns and shock announcements there.
So what can we expect? I really don't know, but I have a couple guesses. So do probably you too, and I would love to hear them. Will MS announce something completely new out of the blue, or will it be underwhelming?
My possible announcements at E3:
1. Alan Wake: AW have been in production for a while now, but we have had signs they are nearing completion: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/41821.html
This trailer is said to be made with the game engine, so it suggests the game might be closer than we think. A 09 Christmas release would bolster the 360s lineup considerably.
2. Mass Effect 2: Might be announced as a timed exclusive. There is little point in releasing ME2 on PS3 before the first game. And MS is surely very interested in keeping ME on the 360 for a while longer. Nothing has been announced, but EAs silence regarding the issue has lead to speculations that they are negotiating a deal with MS.
3. Splinter Cell Conviction: There has been little info about this one for a while. But it might be time for some revealing come E3 time. Maybe not for release this year, but early next year?
So what do you guys think? Any comments or better suggestion are welcomed...

Prepare to jump into tactical plays and snow day mayhem this Free Play Days. Football Manager 26 Console and South Park: Snow Day are available this weekend for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential members to play from Thursday April 16 until Sunday, April 19.
South park Snow Day is probably the most ill conceived what the fuck game since the late 90s I wouldn't play it if you paid me.
No idea who greenlit this especially after two amazing games

The solo developer known as Dizzie hopes to push a new update in between six to 12 months.
I really don't know what MS has in mind but it better be good. I've enjoyed playing on both consoles but given the current wave of things I may end up switching over to the PS3 100% if microsoft doesn't come up with something.
interesting... all the games you listed are multiplatform
anyway if Splinter Cell DOES resurface anytime soon (it went back to the drawing board remember?)...it's unlikely to still even be console exclusive
Ubisoft don't keep their big franchises exclusive to anything, and the deal MS had for Conviction has probably worn off since as the PS3's install base has grown... plus all companies have been taking hits financially and not many 3rd parties can afford exclusives anymore, and MS can't afford to keep paying for 'em... they just lost two multi-million lawsuits, one of which was for over $300m and in aaddition the EU is on their back on various accounts
also, Ubi posted higher profits on PS3 than on 360 or PC...
I expect several big announcements. I'm hoping that Rare's next game is Killer Instinct 3 and I wouldn't be surprised to see a new game from Bungie because ODST strikes me as more of a side project. There's been speculation that Halo 4 is being developed by another studio so it's always a possibility.
I'm expecting anything that will shut us Sony people down once and for all, and stop making ourselves think that 2009 will be our year or any year for that matter. Basically, I'm expecting MS to keep sinking us deeper and deeper into the last place this gen. :) Oh and heyheyhey, keep dreaming you piece of sh!t. :)
