So what makes someone a hardcore gamer? For that matter, how do you classify a casual gamer? So you have all 3 next gen systems(as well as some of the older relics laying around) does that make you hardcore? What if you rarely have the time to play them? And play them every so often, for leisure. Are you now a casual gamer?
What am I? That's the problem I don't know...I just don't. There used to be a time I could dedicate countless hours into the craft, learning, honing, polishing my skills. Lan parties, trash talk, late nights, early morning shifts. Now, a wife and 2 kids later I am what seems to be a crossroads in my gaming life. I can get my gaming in almost every night but only after the kids are asleep, and that's if I even have the energy to do so. True Story: One night after putting the kids to bed I sneak out of the room to get some gaming on. I get as far as putting the TV on the proper input and almost got to my controller before.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. That's right. I fell asleep before I could even turn the 360 on.
So now here I am, at level 28 in MW2, Chapter four in Bayonetta, season one of my dynasty season in NBA Live 10..... Do I just give up? Should I just admit that I am now a "casual" gamer????
NEVER!!! I HAVE BEATEN UNCHARTED 2, ASSASSIN'S CREED 2, little big planet *cough*, all within a span of a couple months. I can do this! Coffee! Coke(Coke Zero, all the flavor, non-of the guilt) let's go.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

You just have this thing called "A Life". Many gamers have one and just because your time for gaming is limited that doesn't make you a "casual" gamer. The fact that you wrote a blog on a gaming website about your gaming habits is enough to consider you "hardcore". You just aren't devoted to gaming.
