Situation: 2 bedroom condo, its late(well for 9-5 working parent standards), twin 2 year old girls asleep in the room next to the living room. 46" LCD screen brilliantly displaying the main menu. The soundtrack: A running dishwasher, and the faint noise of the TV coming from the bedroom. First time playing Modern Warfare 2(or any COD for that matter. I know, I know...) and completely getting decimated by others. Look up tips online on how to get better, and the one tip you are missing is......Turn up your surround sound. Insert any word synonymous to defeat here.
First thing is first, I do not have surround sound in the first place. Second, no kill-streak or 0wnage is worth 2 screaming cranky precious little angels and an oh so lovely wife down your throat..
Enter my savior: The Tritton AX 720 gaming headset. Very comfortable and surprising surround sound experience. As far as game sound and voice sound go? It does a superb job in distinguishing the 2 without taking away from the other. Total change in gaming experience for me. Dinner, playtime, bath, brushing teeth, bottles, bed time....Then Daddy puts the headset on...Game time.
Especially helpful I find in multi-player games that take advantage of surround sound. No more creeping up from behind me(unless ninja perk is equipped) and cut the time it took for me to out where the action is significantly to get my inner John Rambo/John Matrix(see Commando) on.
I know I can't be the only parent gamer out there who loves to be completely submerged in his/her gaming. Imagine playing any survivor horror game and be able to crank the volume up without disturbing anyone but yourself.
The price-point. Can be found around $100-$120. Well worth it. My regret is not finding out about them earlier...

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The charity event will be streamed live from Gamescom in August.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
