I am tired of seeing links to hiphopgamershow.com on n4g and have slowly begun to stop reading the articles posted. The authors there often use sensational and flame-bait titles and rarely possess anything more than "one man's (unremarkable) opinion" on a game, console, or the gaming industry in general.$0$0$0$0Many times I have been frustrated by talks given on the hiphopgamer's vlog, which are often plagued with bias and poorly researched opinions. One of these instances was during the vlog in which he argued that Sony was actually doing very well in hardware sales when you take into account the $400 dollar price tag of the ps3 compared to the $200 dollar price tag of the 360. The ps3 costs over $400 (formerly over $800) just to produce, and the vlog failed to mention this, which is important to take into account when you are speaking in financial terms. What's more, the sale of consoles is not where the majority of profit is meant to come for sony, nintendo or microsoft, and it is ultimately the games, and hence, it is the size of the user base that is most related to the potential success of the console. The vlogger failed to mention any of this, and as far as I could tell, this was because he was discussing the gaming industry with a poor knowledge of it.$0$0$0$0Most recently, the hiphopgamer published an article arguing that Wanted had a better cover system than gears of war 2. I have played neither, but I do know that bullet-time (what seemed to be the deciding factor in his analysis) has very little to do with cover systems nor with realism (despite the author believing so). The article was, IMO, little more than one person touting bullet-time as "awesome" and, if one can argue this, I would say that even his opinion, such as it is, is unfounded (at least with regard to cover systems). Also, for the record, bullet-time IS cool, but there is one glaring problem with it: you can never utilize it online, as time (for all intensive purposes, relativity theorists) is absolute, and one cannot have his partners constantly slowing time down without also slowing down their time. Hey, there's an idea, joint bullet time for everyone! Yikes.$0$0$0$0Ultimately, I find the writing on hiphopgamer disappointing, but despite this, the titles over and over tempt me to give the authors another chance. I will give them that, they do know how to spark interest. The articles, however, ultimately fall flat when it comes to actually providing interesting journalistic material for the gaming community. The articles, to me, are much akin to forum posts: poorly researched opinions very nearly misrepresenting themselves as facts. I don't doubt that many of you have similar feelings relating to the hiphopgamer and I am hoping that fewer of their articles will be posted on n4g, if only to discourage their constant use of sensational titles that, (again) IMO, garner more attention and "degrees" than they deserve. This is only my opinion, and would like to hear from the other n4g members about what they think on the matter, because I am becoming frustrated with the constancy of hiphopgamer headline news posts.$0$0$0
"Death By Scrolling, the endlessly scrolling action roguelite set in the chaotic depths of Purgatory™, is available now on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, alongside its existing release on Steam." - MicroProse.
"NC America officially confirmed today that AION 2, the action-packed, open-world MMORPG, will arrive later this year on Steam." - NC America.

REPLACED provides a dark, cinematic journey through a detailed post-apocalyptic world. Its heavy combat and moody story make this a top tier thriller for any library.
It's all rumor, speculation, and opinion. That's it. If you want news go to one of the major sites. If you want an article that's grammatically correct then you'll need to go elsewhere. He's doing something new in letting anyone write an article, but I don't think he realizes how much credibility you lose by letting anyone write an article. Oh well. I stopped going to his site because the sensationalism got out of control and he's gone from being a charming and entertaining personality to an arrogant guy that constantly seeks to "smash" someone.
Take his gamestop is biased video. The guy didn't come off as biased, he came off as uninformed. Not everyone that works at those stores has a degree in games. Most are just pushing product. HHG took the guys recommendation to buy his 10 or 14 year old nephew a 360 and ran with it. Sigh. Such a shame.
Yea im tired of his so called "news". Im all for the banning of his site.
I agree that he is not that good of a journalist but I don't want to see he go. I mean come on the man is trying and his loves to talk about game, just like you and me. I don't agree with a lot (most) of the things he says but i respect him because he is trying.SO STOP TRYING TO TAKE THE MAN OUT AND HELP THE MAN OUT, and give him positive feed back on how to improve his show.Instead of wanting to lose his show, which he obviously dose on his own.
He's not an idiot. He know's N4G is one of the biggest gaming sites on the net.He also know's there is a rabid infestation of fanboys here.
So he figures Flame-bait title = more degrees & comments = his "articles" hitting front page = More self promotion
He's like a politician.Charismatic and people are drawn to him for that meanwhile they get so blinded they refuse to see what he's actually doing.Using them & N4G to promote himself.Nothing more.
He switches from Pro-PS3 one week to Pro-360 the next.Always trying to rile up the fanboys for hits.
Even tho he post's submissions without following the N4G guidelines the Mod's & admins never do anything about it.
The best way to put an end to this nonsense is for us,the N4G community,to not comment, report even click his links.
No hits = No attention. His "articles" will just fade away in the sea of other blogs and garbage on N4G.
It's a shame tho.I used to like him when he did his little shows on sunday.(Notice he chooses sunday since it's a slow day in the news.Always calculating his self promotion) I always took it as a little joke since he gets all his info from N4G anyways and his "sources".But then he starts letting any joe blow write blogs and post them on N4G.It's getting way out of hand.
i would be honor to help you in your quest you have my sword.
