This is not the original article written and approved a few years back. I decided to change it because I've pretty much noticed how much I have changed since my original post.
Back then gaming was my life and I drifted between games consoles as if it was some sort of crime to enjoy both of them, now I own both consoles. I've matured, my interests have grown (I am doing a Criminal Justice Degree, which takes up a lot of my time)and I am experiences more of what the outside world has to offer so now gaming is my hobby.
I have a New addition to my family (she is two now, but was not even a thought when I wrote my original post), I am still married to the same wonderful woman who supports me through everything.
However I am still a gamer and whilst gaming will always have a place in my heart, I use it as more of a cure for boredom these-days and find it pretty easy to put down the pad. Is this an end of gaming for me? No, but it is a realization for me. Gaming is just that and I think I've put it in it's place.
