That's right, I said it.But it's true. After playing Killzone 2, there is nothing I am looking forwardto playing. LBP, while a masterpiece, sits in its shiny plastic case looking atme as if to say "Et tu Action? Et tu?” Socom glares at me with such disgust;you'd thought I Ok’d its release pre-1.20 patch. I even returned my Fallout 3 and BioShock rentals because I knew there was just no point. Not now. I can't help it. KZ2 (even in its 450MB beta form) is stellar. There's just nothing else I want to play. I know, "What about R2? Or Valkyria Chronicles? Or Naruto?” Simply put: They're not Killzone. I say this to you for 2 reasons:
1. All of the games I've mentionedare, IMO, fantastic games that every gamer who likes to proclaim themselves as a gamer should play, love, and recommend. Each is a particular slice of awesome gaming available on the PS3 and each is the gaming equivalent to a Too Human/LAIR mash-up sprinkled with a little Legendary when compared to Killzone. Even as a beta.
2. Set's the new standard for COD5 Halo4 future console FPS games.
I'm not saying it's perfect, but it should be by release :)
HONORABLE MENTION: Shortly after playing a few rounds of KZ2, a good friend of mine called me up, excited that he was able to get the 360 demo of Left 4 Dead. So I go over excited to pay a game that I had been keeping up with since the days of owning a 360. Anyways, it was fun...kinda. It just felt like killing sporadic streams of zombies, tanks, smokers and boomers...over and over and over and over with no member of your party playing a significant role towards anything that mattered. While not a graphics whore, I still like something pleasing to the eye. L4D is FUGLY. Valve needs to seriously update the Source Engine.

Match 3 meets an RPG this is the only way to describe this game. Puzzle Quest Immortal Edition can only be described as the most complete entry in the series. The game is bursting with addictive gameplay and content and will keep gamers entertained for days.

I agree with you. I'm at the end of Valkyria Chronicles and I want to finish the game, but I keep thinking to myself "Hmmm. Headshot some Empire soldiers, or blow up some people in the K2 beta?" And this is from a BETA that is barely 1/2 a gigabite.
