Halo 3: ODST because it's the only game released in '09 that I have actually played.

are'nt Exclusives at a disadvantage as they're only accessible to one console? Not really up on the finer points of GOTY selection.
Appreciate anyone putting me straight. So wouldnt that hand it to MW2 ?
Or should I file my concerns under "not an issue" !?lol

GOTY: Uncharted 2.. Nothing even comes close to beating this.

1)Best FPS: I personally would pick KZ2, but know the media will give it to MW2...
2)Best Racing game: Forza 3 (Well it's the best you've got till GT5 lands)
3)Best RPG: Demon Souls (really good game)
4)Best superhero (lol new category): Batman or Infamous (I personally would vote Infamous, but AA was awesome as well).
5)Best TPS: Uncharted 2 (lol again).
6)Best Arcade game: Fat princess or Shadow Complex (Didn't play SC, but have heard good things).
7)Best open world game: Till now, Infamous, but I think AC2 will take the thrown as it looks really great this time.
8)Best Arcade fighter: SF4.

Disappointments of 2009 (till now):
1)ODST (hardly any new content and hailed as a good game).
2)MW2 (played it at my friends house... Looks pale, short campaign and ACTIVISION!!!!!)
3)Prototype (high expectations, but turned out to be a bad game with no story and crap graphics)
4)RE5 (Seriously, I couldn't even get beyond adjusting the controls, let alone enjoying the game)
5)Borderlands (I love Fallout 3, but BL blew up with arcady style gameplay... Good weapons collection though).
6)Halo Wars.... Yet another milked title that blew up in M$'s face, seriously Console and RTS CANNOT be said in the same statement)

Sleeper Hit:
Demon Souls, Batman (every one thought another movie game, but this one was good)...

Upcoming:
AC2 (Really looks awesome this time around.... Plus nice graphics always are welcomed.)
L4D2 (Looks good, but will buy it for PC for all the mods =) )

Personal this don't make sence this is were competition gets Stupid!!!
I can understand racing game of the year stealth GOTY etc
But how are you gonna sayin forza was beat by uncharted 2 or mw2 its really silly...

Forza 3 is packed to the brim with content(2disk)plus reedem colde dlc
and is fun it has not been taken out my xbox since i brought it

uncharted 2 i can't say much about as i do not own a ps3 but news is its amazin but how are we puttin tomb raider against driving games it don't make sence

thats why i think the award should go to the dev team that puts in work grinds out amazin content brings somefink new to the table and supports its game

This list is a joke without Demon's Souls, especially if you're putting Dragon Age on there...

Left 4 Dead 2 (I consider it a full game since it has at least as much content as L4D1)

Not so sure about the fifth one. I would say Killzone 2 or SFIV, but I still have to play Batman: AA, TBOGT, Tekken 6, and too many PS3/Wii exclusives to even bother naming right now.

ODST was ****ing horrible.
MW2...I just don't know.
Forza 3 would've been up there, but there are too many glitches and the menus are a nightmare to navigate through. The Storefront is great, though.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
