A lot of games have come out already, and with 2010 right around the corner even more amazing titles will be gracing gamers. But until then these 10 games are the cream of the crop to me. So without further ado here are the 10 best games so far this gen. (For those of you who enjoyed complaining in my last blog the parenthesis after the games are specifically for you except Resistance)
1. Uncharted 2 - 9.4/10
2. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - 9.4/10 (amazing story semi open world)
3. Killzone 2 - 9.1/10
4. Gears of War 2 - 9.1/10
5. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - 9.1/10 (great story open world)
6. Bioshock - 9.0/10 (many open areas in the game)
7. Little Big Planet - 9.0/10
8. Super Mario Galaxy - 9.0/10
9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - 9.0/10
10. Resistance: Fall of Man - 9.0/10 (R2 had better gameplay, but R: FOM had something special)
Honorable mention(s): Grand Theft Auto 4, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Mass Effect (all of these are 9.0/10 as well).

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.
The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.
15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.
These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.
LBP, Infamous, Batman AA, Uncharted 2, SMG, Twilight Princess, GOW COA, Burnout Paradise, Dead Space, SF4... Probably.
Honorable mention. The R&C Series(All 3 this gen), COD4 and Bioshock.
This would be much nicer to see imo in a few months after GOW3 comes out or last guardian
Burnout Paradise, Brawl!, and Halo 3 are the only games that I have 'loved' this gen. New Super Mario Bros. is probably #4 and Burnout Revenge at #5.
Bioshock, Left 4 Dead, Halo 3, Forza 3, CoD4, Batman: AA, Mass Effect, GTA: IV, and a couple of others I can't name off the top of my head for me.
